Final Fantasy XIV second expansion pack, Stormblood, is a storytelling achievement, but nothing more. The game it's a showcase of the archaic scheme that governs every MMO in existence. Nevertheless, it's a rich and vibrant world which proudly carries the name of Final Fantasy.

8.2 / 10.0 - Splatoon 2
Jul 18, 2017

The absence of the traditional gimmick that every Nintendo sequel usually features was actually the right call for Splatoon 2. In the end, Splatoon 2 is a compelling, quick and fun multiplayer game, suitable for new players -due to the simplicity of its mechanics- and veterans that will be seduced by the complex and tactical challenges in Ranked and League Battles.

9 / 10.0 - Prey
May 12, 2017

Deep, systemic and old school, Prey is a beautiful and haunting world to explore and overcome. A reminder of long forgotten design philosophies applied to modern game design.

Mass Effect: Andromeda is a game that forgot how to be a Mass Effect game. While it fails to deliver a compelling narrative and has little to offer, It’s the combat and planetary exploration the element that holds together this contrasting experience. The result is a game drifting away in the open and cold space.

6.5 / 10.0 - For Honor
Feb 22, 2017

For Honor has the best, most innovative and rewarding combat system we have seen in years. However, the whole experience is crippled by poorly designed game modes and progression schemes; a broken matchmaking system and online instability. It's best to avoid it for now and wait a few months until the developer can fix its problems.

8.8 / 10.0 - Halo Wars 2
Feb 21, 2017

The most accessible yet demanding real time strategy game for consoles, Halo Wars 2 lives up to expectations while celebrating 20 years of RTS tradition at the same time. Fans of the franchise will love it but veterans and newcomers to the RTS genre will be satisfied as well.

Resident Evil 7: Biohazard is a terrifying survival horror experience. It offers the best spooky atmosphere in the franchise with many of the classic mechanics that build the original formula. Yet it has enough new elements to stand his ground amidst similar games. Without doubt, a must play horror experience.

9.5 / 10.0 - Overwatch
May 27, 2016

I think Overwatch is essential for every FPS fan; It is the game I will dedicate to the next few years and I have no doubt that it will last more than a decade. Overwatch is fun, exciting, dynamic; accessible for beginners, but extremely difficult to master. It is a benchmark for future installments for its great attention to detail and commitment to delivering the best player experience, on and off the battlefield. Without further ado, I do not hesitate to recommend it widely for being indomitable, charismatic and most importantly: fun.

‎At the end of the day, ‎‎The Following‎‎ is everything we could expect from the ‎‎Dying Light‎‎expansion, a memorable and extremely fun installment of last year's best zombie game because it continues the story of survival and follows to the letter a solid formula that we thought was appropriate. ‎‎The Following‎‎ debuts with the Enhanced Edition of ‎‎Dying Light,‎‎which means that the base game received a lot of quality improvements. The best news for the owners of the original game is that they will have such a version without paying. On PC, the update is out of the box, while on console the additions should be ready as an additional downloadable package. The release of ‎‎The Following‎‎ is a worthy time to return to the best zombie survival and action game of 2015.‎

9.3 / 10.0 - Pillars of Eternity
May 25, 2015

Pillars of Eternity made it clear that Kickstarter can be a valuable tool for developers, as long as they are committed to achieving the best possible quality of their artistic vision. In this case, the product far exceeded our expectations by delivering a wonderful, indomitable and representative experience of the RPG genre. I am eager to know what the future of the franchise will be, especially if there will be a sequel, because I want to reuse the character that I painstakingly built and watched grow.
