After almost two weeks with Starfield, the feeling is that there is still plenty to see and do. An epic space adventure in every way that will suck you into a black hole of entertainment. The game has its problems – especially in the weak main campaign – but you're sure to have other things to do.

Diablo 4 is bigger, better, and far more sinister than it has been in a long time. As a single player, the campaign gets a little tedious at times, but the big reward comes, as you know, only after that.

Hogwarts Legacy is filled to the brim with content and things to see and do. However, depth is lacking and most aspects of the game could well have been expanded a bit more. I simply would have liked to have seen a little more quality over quantity, but regardless, this is an action adventure that will keep you entertained for a long time.

The Callisto Protocol is stylish and entertaining space action that doesn't reinvent the wheel. Rather, the entire foundation of the game is built on tried and tested concepts and we hadn't objected to a bit of innovation.

Mostly, however, we have praise to pour over Pentiment. The game is the stylistically most beautiful adventure of the year, while also feeling both intelligent and passionately built. It's undeniably an odd bird that's likely to find the right niche audience. For just over SEK 200 on Steam and considering that it is included in Xbox Game Pass, we encourage all curious people to take a closer look at the game.

Those of you who have played through and appreciated Resident Evil Village can definitely cough up the just over 200 crowns that Capcom's latest DLC requests in exchange. Just be aware that the experience is very much the same as the main game. Story-wise, it mostly feels like an unnecessary epilogue. But it's still fun!

Elden Ring takes everything fans love about the Soulsborne phenomenon and applies it to an open world. A wonderful, fascinating and incomparably beautiful world that connects a stranglehold on the player from the first moment – completely without falling. No gamer, no matter what you think of the previous games, should miss this.

Total War: Warhammer 3 is an incredibly ambitious further development of an already massive concept. A tribute to the fantasy and strategy games as a genre. The campaign is nicely framed, but it doesn't sit well in our opinion. It is characterized by some monotony and unnecessarily muddy final battles. But there is no doubt that Creative Assembly has topped the form and will carve the whole thing together into something special.

Battlefield 2042 is huge. In his best moments huge fun, but just as often hugely frustrating, stressful and difficult to understand. All controls are at max in this game, which is a clear starting point from the previous games in the series. Whether you will like it or not is impossible to answer.

Age of Empires 4 is a safe return. It is both better looking and larger than before, but at the same time is characterized by an extremely familiar feeling. The various playable civilizations are the triumph of the game, while the campaigns and inherited problems of the rts genre as a whole create some irritation.

Biomutant is an odd and brave addition to the action role-playing game, but is plagued by substandard storytelling and repeating elements. The smart weapon and equipment building system acts as a rescue plank. As a whole, the game does not live up to the hype.

Little Nightmares 2 is well worth taking a closer look at. Rarely has horror, despair and loneliness been illustrated in such a compelling way.

Sometimes the course of events may be a little predictable, and sometimes a little too shallow. In a mystery-edged, dialogue-driven game, it is a difficult balancing act to decide how far to follow the various stories. The road to dissolution is also relatively short and we would have preferred a fourth chapter that allowed us to dig a little deeper in different places. We want more! Because under the three hundred note, you get an entertaining mystery to solve and put your own stamp on. The fact that Microsoft also allows the game to be included in Game Pass makes the acquisition issue an even bigger no-brainer. Tell Me Why is one of the most touching games of the year so far that will have your full attention from start to finish.

Iceborne is a massive addition to an already giant, vibrant Monster Hunter world. Anyone who played through and appreciated Monster Hunter World simply has zero reason not to invest in Iceborne.

Replacing a beloved game classic from scratch is not an easy task, but Capcom succeeds. Resident Evil 2 was well worth all the wait.
The game is amazingly well-polished, the fighting is like a tiny and as atmospheric environment as the environment has been framed with a clear love for the Mutant world and the characters that populate it.
Rockstar's eye for detail, presentation and tongue-in-cheek-storytelling makes this one an instant classic. Red Dead Redemption 2 is the ultimate Wild West sandbox-experience everyone has been waiting so very patiently for. It gives us more of everything we loved about the original and then takes it to a completely new level.

Far Cry 5 is an epic soundbox experience, driven by the joy of exploration and all-out chaotic gunplay. It's all good fun, but also very familiar, and we can't help but wonder what would have been if Ubisoft put more story-driven elements into the game.

For those deep into to the series, Football Manager 2018 brings several upgrades to the table. They might not work flawlessly as of yet, but do sure show great potential. The somewhat clunky UI and feature-fest might feel intimidating for new and old players alike, though.
