After almost two weeks with Starfield, the feeling is that there is still plenty to see and do. An epic space adventure in every way that will suck you into a black hole of entertainment. The game has its problems – especially in the weak main campaign – but you're sure to have other things to do.

With fast and smooth control, stunning visuals and plenty of game modes, Street Fighter 6 is a new star on the fighting scene. As usual, it is difficult to predict how well-functioning and balanced the online part is, but the potential for something really good is there. If nothing else, hours of fun await you in the delightfully strange single-player campaign.

Diablo 4 is bigger, better, and far more sinister than it has been in a long time. As a single player, the campaign gets a little tedious at times, but the big reward comes, as you know, only after that.

Hogwarts Legacy is filled to the brim with content and things to see and do. However, depth is lacking and most aspects of the game could well have been expanded a bit more. I simply would have liked to have seen a little more quality over quantity, but regardless, this is an action adventure that will keep you entertained for a long time.

In combat, Fire Emblem Engage is the best in the series. Classic game mechanics coexist with new clever, if gimmicky, elements of entertaining but painfully unforgiving combat. Outside of the battles, however, the adventure doesn't engage as much and is a noticeable setback alongside its predecessor. But if you're primarily after strategic combat, Fire Emblem Engage is a perfect fit.

When the horror classic Dead Space makes a comeback in the form of a remake, the adventure feels both familiar and new. The giant spaceship Ishimura is as delightfully unwelcoming as it used to be, as are the heavy, meaty battles. Although the horror level is uneven and some moments outdated, Dead Space Remake is an excellent return visit that has improved on just the right points.

With hysterical excessive action, Bayonetta 3 is unlike anything else. Even the predecessors are in the lee. The adventure constantly surprises with new elements and mighty battles, but not always to the good. On the one hand, the whole becomes fragmented and uneven, and on the other hand, the Nintendo Switch does not really mess with the developers' ambitions. But a damn entertaining action game it is nonetheless.

The Callisto Protocol is stylish and entertaining space action that doesn't reinvent the wheel. Rather, the entire foundation of the game is built on tried and tested concepts and we hadn't objected to a bit of innovation.

Graphics aren't everything and buggy releases are nothing new, but for Nintendo to release its golden calf in this condition is a big disappointment. The foundation still entertains greatly, and a couple of new clever touches elevate the adventure above its predecessors. But when lots of both big and small flaws constantly make themselves felt, it's hard to appreciate the pocket monsters' latest adventures.

In the fourth part of the Dark Anthology saga, we visit an old hotel filled with mystery and deadly traps. Updated game mechanics we also get, but as the control is still uncut, it overturns rather than helps. Even the sometimes strange cut remains. With that said; The cinematic concept of many story-crucial decisions still holds up and creates a wonderfully nerve-wracking experience.

Mostly, however, we have praise to pour over Pentiment. The game is the stylistically most beautiful adventure of the year, while also feeling both intelligent and passionately built. It's undeniably an odd bird that's likely to find the right niche audience. For just over SEK 200 on Steam and considering that it is included in Xbox Game Pass, we encourage all curious people to take a closer look at the game.

When the blue hedgehog again runs on our television screen, it is with mixed results. For every part we genuinely like, there are elements that do their best to hack apart the joy of gaming. That's a shame, because this is in several ways the best Sonic game in three dimensions. If you're a big Sonic fan, Sonic Frontiers is still worth a look, despite all the problems.

Those of you who have played through and appreciated Resident Evil Village can definitely cough up the just over 200 crowns that Capcom's latest DLC requests in exchange. Just be aware that the experience is very much the same as the main game. Story-wise, it mostly feels like an unnecessary epilogue. But it's still fun!

When the God of War saga debuts on Playstation 5, we're treated to an epic adventure that thunders on with strong characters, bombastic scenes, beautiful views and masterful battles. At the same time, it's a slightly too faithful sequel where it's noticeable that the roots are partly stuck in technology from 2013. Ultimately, Ragnarök is a worthy sequel and an excellent action game, but certainly we had hoped for a little more.

Gotham Knights has the potential to be fantastic, but a rushed-out release means that both small and big problems are constantly gnawing at the gaming experience. Behind the slightly too many misses, however, is a sometimes brilliant adventure that in several ways beats the classic Arkham trilogy. Now we just hope that in the reasonably near future the game will receive updates that grind away the parts that chafe.

Valkyrie Elysium is in many ways reminiscent of a Playstation 2 game – in an unexpectedly good way. With old-fashioned environments and strange presentation, the first impression is wobbly, but the well-controlled and intense combat makes the adventure entertain so much that some outdated elements can't lower our mood.

Grounded is a cozy and scary game at the same time. One moment we explore the exciting world and gather material for our base in peace and quiet, and the next we panic when a huge bloodthirsty spider wants to sink its teeth into us.

For those of you who grew up with Monkey Island, Indiana Jones, Quest for Glory and all the other great point and click games of the 90s, Return to Monkey Island is a pure joy to play. Purchase! You won't regret it. Return to Monkey Island does most things right and hopefully this is the first of more new Monkey Island games (directed by Ron Gilbert).

When Nintendo's unique Splatoon series reaches its third installment, the addictive online mode is joined by a single-player mode that's at least as high-class. With single-player courses filled with clever and varied ideas, this is Nintendo at its best. In online mode, a lot is like it used to be – but why complain about something that's still fun?

In Endling – Extinction is Forever, we follow a fox mother and her puppies in a desperate struggle for survival in a world destroyed by man. The environmental theme is obvious, but never so exaggerated that it annoys. Instead, we're busy trying to keep our pups alive on a journey that scares and touches more than much — despite not a single word being uttered.
