‎Visually very original, playably very familiar and narratively very interesting are the adjectives that join AAA production values to put on the table one of the best RPGs of the year and, possibly, of the decade.‎

9 / 10.0 - Deathloop
Sep 13, 2021

‎Deathloop is a video game that maintains the characteristic elements of Arkane games: an outstanding level design, exceptional gameplay, an interesting story and a spectacular artistic section. A work with very few buts that has hooked me and fallen in love from beginning to end.‎

6.5 / 10.0 - BIOMUTANT
May 24, 2021

‎Biomutant is a game that mimics the proposals of The Witcher 3 or the recent Assassin's Creed, but with less budget. Despite having a truly interesting open world, Biomutant features flaws such as a wide variety of enemies, a repetitive combat system, an insubstantial progression, and poor narrative that make the game tedious in the long run. Less than 20 hours of duration and outstanding visuals keep the boat afloat and make the experience, as a whole, not memorable for better or worse.‎

8 / 10.0 - It Takes Two
Mar 25, 2021

‎It Takes Two takes a leap of quality from previous Hazelight works, abandoning the cinematic experience and betting more on a game converted into a toy. At the playable level it is an outstanding work: varied, surprising and fun from start to finish. However, a naive and superficial narrative that is not able to speak of love or relationships at any time lastra an experience that would otherwise have proved essential.‎

‎Tarsier Studios brings back Little nightmares II with a continuing bet but capable of being surprising. A much improved narrative section, exquisite gameplay and outstanding design form an experience that is only tarnished by the introduction to force of a combat system that does not fit.‎

6 / 10.0 - The Medium
Jan 27, 2021

The Medium is a game that doesn't have big flaws or hits. Simplified gameplay and a half-way story between the horror story and the most serious sociopolitical discourse make Bloober Team's work doomed to be a mediocre title that we probably even remember at the end of the year.

Panic Button once again signs an outstanding port. DOOM Eternal comes to Nintendo Switch without too many adaptations and making many technical concessions, but the result is an experience that remains solid and rewarding.

9.5 / 10.0 - Cyberpunk 2077
Dec 7, 2020

Cyberpunk 2077 is the ultimate power fantasy. A video game that takes the best of modern RPG, first-person shooter, stealth, and the open world and masterfully blends it into a single product. If Skyrim and GTA V marked a before and after for their genres at the beginning of the 2010s, Cyberpunk 2077 is called to do the same from this 2020.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater is back with a work faithful to its playable roots but with a total technical facelift. A riot of arcade fun capable of convincing the most veteran fans and those who have not yet touched the saga.

‎Destroy All Humans! it arrives to disguise the years that the original video game has behind it. Although there is some crack through which to glimpse these 15 years that have passed since the premiere of the original work, the remake of Destroy All Humans! it is able to solve much of its problems and position itself as a fun and casual sandbox that offers hours and hours of fun, in addition to perfectly adapting the culture surrounding the UFO phenomenon of the 50s.‎

9 / 10.0 - Desperados III
Jun 12, 2020

Desperados III feels natural as a new entry in the series while being innovative and a really good current game. A title that, without much noise, results in one of the best recent stealth experiences.

5.5 / 10.0 - Minecraft Dungeons
May 22, 2020

Minecraft Dungeons is a game that doesn't live up to expectations. Despite being funny, it's way too small and unpolished to be the next game in the Minecraft series. Playing through the whole game leaves us with the feeling that this is just a prototype rather than the full ARPG game that fans were expecting.

Munch's Oddysee is still the worst Oddworld game and his new remastered version for Nintendo Switch doesn't change that. The result of this last port is a game that is truly mediocre.

Animal Crossing is back with New Horizons. A game that feels big, polished and absolutely addictive. Ninteno has managed to create yet another entry in the series that has enough changes without leaving behind the feeling and philosophy of Animal Crossing.

6.5 / 10.0 - AO Tennis 2
Jan 13, 2020

AO Tennis 2 is a big step forward. This game isn't an ace yet, but it isn't the double fault AO International Tennis was. With lots of content and a decent gameplay core, AO Tennis 2 can be even funny for tennis fans.

6.5 / 10.0 - GYLT
Dec 20, 2019

Gylt is a game that isn't too good or too bad to be memorable, both in terms of gameplay and narrative. A simple and easy adventure that can entertain anyone for some hours but that doesn't do anything relevant.

7.5 / 10.0 - Darksiders Genesis
Dec 4, 2019

Darksiders Genesis takes the franchise's pillars (fast-paced combat, some puzzles and platforming) to an isometric perspective. A game that, although feels completely like a smaller spin-off rather than a big new entry in the series, manages to still give that Darksiders' feeling that fans love.

8.5 / 10.0 - Superliminal
Nov 12, 2019

Portal meets The Stanley Parable in a game that, although may fall short in some aspects, offers one of the most imaginative and surprising experiences of 2019. A true hidden gem for the puzzle lovers as well as a video game design masterclass.

Need for Speed heat has one of the best gameplay and visuals ever seen in a racing game. It also marks a change for the franchise, a game that focus more on street racing rather than the story. However, it takes a lot of mechanics from other games like The Crew or Forza Horizon, resulting in an experience that, although it's fun, lacks personality.

8 / 10.0 - The Outer Worlds
Oct 22, 2019

Obsidian offers a new videogame that brings back the outstanding first person RPG gameplay from Fallout New Vegas. However, due to some flaws, this game also feels like it's from 2010, making it a bit obsolete from its very launch date.
