The Switch version of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is a truly wonderful game, yet another potential killer application for the new Nintendo console. Despite occasionally showing the fact that it was originally released in 2011, the game is still one of the best fantasy experiences out there.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 is simply huge, with an engaging story, an incredibly rich roster of characters - including some obscure (mini)figures - and an enormous world to play with. That is, unless you've had enough of the usual Traveller's Tales formula, basically unaltered from all the previous LEGO games.

We swear on our double chainsaw that we'd have loved to give DOOM on Switch a higher score: the game is the one we already loved in every possible version ever released, brutal and crazy, but the technical compromises are important, and cannot be put aside. It Switch is your only game console, this is a must buy; if you own another gamign platform, you'll find a better experience there.

Cuphead is a small, wonderful gem (albeit not a long one), with a truly unique art direction and a real challenging difficulty. It's not for everyone, but it will be an absolute joy for whomever is willing to take up the challenge.

Overall, Pillars of Eternity is an excellent old-fashioned role-playing game, very deep, long-lived and – fortunately – transported almost painlessly on PlayStation 4. It is a tribute to a way of making role-playing games perhaps a little too old school, which maybe will turn up their noses at those who do not even take the pad in hand without being in front of an infinity of polygons, but who will be able to conquer - with good probability - the adventurers looking for something more substantial.

Owlboy is a brilliant but short trip: a gorgeous journey into a touching story, dressed up in a metroidvania suit.

Were all the remastered so beautiful, we would be truly happy. Odin Spere: Leifthrasir, beyond being unpronounceable, improves the original in every possible way, from the combat system to the graphics. The result is simply breathtaking, perfect for newcomers as well as for fans of the original.
