The Forest is one of the best survival game to date, especially because of its interesting story, inspired by horror movies like The Descent. Everything is here to remind you that the surrounding nature will do everything to destroy your morale and your life. Oppressive, stressful, but so exhilarating, The Forest is made for any survival games' fans, even if it suffers from weird physics and perfectible AI.

A Total War Saga Thrones of Britannia is a good spin-off with very good ideas especially in the Campagn. We can almost feel a Paradox's touch in the wargame part, so it's a very good things (food system, resupply, etc). Unfortunately the technical part and the graphic engine are old and we are far from the graphic slap of the era of Empire Total War or Rome II. Licence need really change engine for bring more epic in battles.

Frostpunk is a very good management game. Intelligent, dark and mature, its major flaw is its lack of replay value and the lack of impact of moral choices. Despite that, it's clearly a must have for all management/survival games lovers.

BattleTech has a lot of qualities. It offers a rich and deep universe and some quite interesting game mechanics. Refreshing in the tactical genre, it's also a real pleasure for micromanagements' enthusiasts. Sadly, visuals are not on par. It's not exactly what we'd call a pleasure for the eyes.

Desert Kingdoms is full of good ideas, but it lacks depth. Especially when you know that modders have already done a very good job on some cultures in the pack. And for free.

Vermintide 2 is a splendor. Probably the best Warhammer game at the moment, especially because Fatshark studio is talented enough to keep only the best of this universe. With an intelligent loot system, charismatic heroes and many classes, and some great violent action, Vermintide is a must-have if you love cooperative action games.

Surviving Mars is a superb management game. With City Skylines (another Paradox production), it's simply the best in its genre, thanks to a deep gameplay, big content, nice visuals, great concept and mods compatibility.

Into the Breach is an excellent tactical game. It feels like a game of chess with robots and aliens, and it offers a very deep gameplay behind its simplistic looks.

The target audience for this Age of Empires : Definitive Edition is clearly nostalgic people. This remaster is a nice starter to wait for the main course: Age of Empires IV. Despite bugs such as a shameful pathfinding and some zoom problems, this is not a lazy version. Graphics and audio liftings are enough to enjoy again one of the most important games of PC's games History.

Rise and Fall extension adds a lot of content and new gameplay mechanics, some of them being better than others.

Despite its technical issues and many bugs, Kingdom Come Deliverance is an excellent and really unique RPG. Its system reaches depths that has never been seen before, and assumes its diehard historical aspect at the risk of cutting itself off from a big part of the public. Here is a true ode to the European medieval period, and eventually the typical game that you will love or hate with passion.

Probably one of the best survival open world so far. A beautiful adventure with a true scenario and a very original game's mechanics. Diving into Subnautica ocean is a true pleasure and the only problem of the game is the lack of explanation in the scenario, which can be annoying because we sometimes go around in circles without finding a solution.

Railway Empire is a good management game, interesting, deep and complex. But it is clearly not for beginners despite its presence on PS4 and Xbox One. The tutorial is too frail and we often end up going around in circles before finding the solution which make a run extremely time-consuming and artificially long. Despite that, this title has many interesting game mechanics, in particular the economy system which is a perfect representation of modern capitalism and what the history of the American railway might have been.

PUBG is a like an adrenaline shot. It is surely one of the best multiplayer experiences in recent years. With its simple and highly effective principle, it has been the best Battle Royale game and one of the funniest games of 2017. And will probably be in 2018 too.

Dungeons 3 lets us with a frown. The management part is very good with lot of possibilities but on the other hand, RTS part is too classic. It's too redundant to be a fully enjoyable experience.

A true pleasure this return in Titan Quest 11 years later. A good surprise from THQ Nordic in 2017. This game is a true fresh air of nostalgia for lot of PC players. Is it a sign for a come back of the licence, perhaps with a Titan Quest 2 ? In all case, this DLC is a great job with very interesting new specialisation and a fascinating lore.

Total War Rome II Empire Divided Empire is a good DLC who brings some fresh elements to an old-looking game. It's focusing on one of the most interesting periods of the Roman Empire (the reign of Aurelian). We can regret the lack of new content in politics after the free update. Total War fans are still unlikely to be disappointed. But to many other players, this DLC will feel dispensable.

Indeed, Outcast still has an amazing universe but this remaster isn't successful in its attempt to modernize its graphics and gameplay.

Star Wars Battlefront II draw a line on the past of the licence. Complete overhaul of the space combat system, disappearance of the walker mode, addition of classes, big content at the launch, various objectives, addition of a solo campaign. Everything we could have expected in the first one is finally here. Only the cash shop and the feeling of shooting (little bit spineless) are a problem. Despite that we have in front of us a complete Star Wars game, especially with best SW space combats since X-Wing serie.

Call of Duty WWII is a real success and the franchise's return to its roots can only be acclaimed. The campaign does justice to both the Second World War and D-Day. The multiplayer, while packed with good ideas, lacks the ambition seen and felt in the campaign. Call of Duty WWII offers the best CoD single player campaign seen in quite some time and multiplayer modes that are fun even if a bit underwhelming. Overall, it's mission accomplished for Sledgehammer.
