That such a project (so inspired by the love of retro) goes ahead is always a joy. The game itself blames certain imbalances in the difficulty curve and becomes somewhat short, but it is undoubtedly agile, friendly and direct, in the style of those arcades that stole the fourth decades ago, without it "hurting" us to empty the wallet.

It keeps the charm of the franchise while offering some interesting moments, but it can't hide the fact that graphics and some gameplay elements are outdated. If you are looking for a plain and simple survival horror experience, you will probable be satisfied with this one.

It's the less terrifying game in the series, but it keeps you on your toes constantly. Its focus on camarederie and cooperating to survive works really well. Anyway, if you didn't like the previous entries, this one won't probably appeal you either.

It's by no means a technical wonder, but its "lifting" is enough to keep up with current standards. Story and atmosphere are kept unaltered for a good reason: they still are tremendously engaging.

"Satisfactory" is a well suited adjective for this game. It may not be as groundbreaking as other games in the genre, but it offers really interesting exploration and combats. And you'll love your Rots too!

Whether you are a fan or not of sims, this is a game you should at least try. Even with some tiny tech hiccups here and there, this is an experience capable of making you want to buy a bigger TV.

A praiseworthy work of revival of this classic. It updates and makes many of its original features better, but that's not enough to compensate its original flaws: basically, a brutal, unfair difficulty that may make you despair.

One of the most spectacular fighting games ever made, with a game dynamics that may appeal to any player... Although its main focus is online gaming. It may feel a little too shallow in content.

Some technical flaws are totally compensated by its absorbing atmosphere and its "no mercy" philosophy. If you are a diehard fan of the survival horror genre, you should try it.

A worthy sequel por the series, but maybe too similar to the previous one. It offers some interesting puzzles and gags, though.

The update of the game has its pros and cons, but the main improvements are well received. Narrative, setting and dialogs are still awesome, so having all condensed in a single package feels like a real treasure.

It repeats the typical mistake of other DLCs from the franchise (repeating the mechanics of the main game with a coat of paint), but its simple, focused story is well developed.

Mixed feelings: graphics and sound offer a surreal and engaging experience, but gameplay wise, several camera hiccups and uneven level design may become frustrating. Balan is able to appeal your inner child... If that child is a patient one.

A noble atempt to emulate the horror we experienced with P.T., but the final result is not as engaging. It needs a better closure.

A rock-solid platformer that shines in the graphics and gameplay department. Its main fault is that the game is too derivative.

Copying a formula doesn't necessarily replicate its success. Taxi Chaos is an OK-ish game with good intentions, but it lacks the charisma and fun factor that made Crazy Taxi a classic.

It proposes an universe and some attractive ideas, but they are not interesting enough to overlook a crude graphical performance and some really repetitive gameplay mechanics.

This new PS5 exclusive offers some amusing ideas while taking advantage of the superior hardware, but it's too shallow in content and uses some greedy strategies. Future updates could change the situation, though.

Don't expect a horror game but a paranormal adventure, one that will intrigue and surprise you with some of its mechanics. A noteworthy and attractive experience that, maybe because of that, feels a little too short.
