Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 gets it wrong in practically every possible aspect, from the campaign with dubious design and shallow story, to the uninteresting zombies mode and even its classic competitive multiplayer mode delivering far below expectations. Little is really original and the game feels more like a reuse of parts of Warzone to create a new product to be sold at full price.

RoboCop: Rogue City has a number of problems that consist more of a general lack of technical polish and the use of a dated overall game structure. Despite this, it respectfully delivers a good setting for a classic character, respecting the original material and with good doses of fun.

Poorly executed, lacking creativity, with restricted progression and fun grounded only by co-op, PAYDAY 3 is a difficult recommendation even for fans of the franchise.

Although not the version expected by many players, Red Dead Redemption shows strength as one of the best games of all time. The 2023 version is the most stable option, but it could be much better.

Changing its style of play from what it was previously, EVERSPACE 2 delivers much more freedom to the player and improvements to the great gameplay it has. It still falls short in delivering a simplified and uninspired story and narrative, but it excels at good combat and exploration.

Showing good ideas with poor execution, Atlas Fallen is an action RPG with flaws, strange decisions and an underused universe in many ways. It is a better experience when enjoyed cooperatively, but just a decent game nowadays.

Remnant 2 is an impeccable work by Gunfire Games and a very high level sequel. Delivers the improvements and innovation expected by players and shows potential for even more to come. It might still not be the best solo experience possible, but it sure is one of the best co-op experiences out there.

Despite notable slips, such as the technical and visual part, bad interface and unnecessary complexity, Company of Heroes 3 has merits for delivering a good RTS on consoles, being fun and for having a good adaptation to controls.

Punctual, even if not perfect, the Sunbreak expansion brings good improvements and excellent content to Monster Hunter Rise. Although much is gameplay updates and more quality of life for the game, there are enough new features to hook the player and guarantee more dozens of hours invested.

Dead Island 2 overcame years of development problems to deliver a fun zombie story with some personality. It doesn't try to go much beyond the basics, but it does it honestly and competently, with good hints of humor and a great co-op experience.

Although there are problems with making most of its content available and also an excessive randomness for combat and progress, Pirates Outlaws is one of the best current roguelikes, with a lot of personality and a considerable challenge.

Deceive Inc. delivers fun matches in a scenario of spies against spies in an online multiplayer environment with some quality. The lack of content is worrisome and is the biggest downside here, forcing the player to have some hope for more in the future.

The Outer Worlds: Spacer's Choice Edition proves to be the perfect version for those who haven't been able to enjoy the game and its expansions previously. There's not much to appeal for those who want to return to this universe beyond the expected visual and technical improvements, although there are notable performance issues that would still need attention.

Technical issues affect both the performance and visual quality of Wild Hearts to a considerable degree. However, the visual style, the gameplay structure, the great use of Karakuri for hunting and exploration, as well as the very good co-op make it a fun and original title. If you have the patience to wait for updates and the technical problems to be resolved, it is certainly a great option in the hunting genre.

Dead Space marks the triumphant return of a franchise that didn't deserve the end it had years ago. Revamped visuals, improved level design, interesting new features, perfect use of sound and lighting techniques, along with the same sense of space horror as before – all of this delivers one of the best survival horror ever.

Apart from the excessively long learning curve, Marvel's Midnight Suns is an amazing surprise with some of the world's most famous heroes in a different way than usual. It is certainly one of the best games of 2022 and yet another example of Firaxis' impeccable quality.

Superb in setting, visuals, sound and other technical parts, The Callisto Protocol is impressive from start to finish and a brutal experience that is lacking these days. Although it is not perfect and some problems can be noticed, as well as the lack of content beyond the main campaign, there is a lot of quality showing that the game delivers what was promised.

With almost no innovation, the first expansion of Dying Light 2 brings more of the same without being really attractive. There are contents that may satisfy some players, but it might not be enough to keep most interested in the game any longer.

With a good variety of gameplay, Sophstar is a traditional shoot'em up that has its personality. It still lacks more depth and ways, which affects the experience as a whole to reach its potential.
