Critic Reviews for V Rising
While its time-consuming crafting aspects can take the bite out of the vampire fantasy, V Rising really does rise to the occasion with its excellent boss design and respectable ARPG combat.
V Rising found that perfect balance of building, combat, some lore and exploration—I would highly recommend it for RPG fans and vampire fans alike.
V Rising is a decent multiplayer survival sim. The game definitely deserves your attention. For a small price, you can get a large amount of content that will take dozens of hours to complete and this is only just the beginning.
V Rising is a content-rich ARPG that is endlessly enjoyable, whether you play it as a survival game with team strategy or purely as a single-player game.

V Rising is a great open-world survival that brings in a highly gothic vampire element. Unlock new forms and fight your way to the top of the food chain by killing boss after boss. Take it even further with the Secrets of Gloomrot expansion and explore new technological wonders that are available alongside thirteen new bosses. Whether you just stay near your base to build or venture out into the wilds to hunt down vampire hunters and other bosses is entirely up to you.
V Rising and its latest major expansion, Secrets of Gloomrot might become the next major hit with its unique survival and building mechanics, but also the combat system. The Gloomrot area, in particular, is a shocking change of pace and scenery while bringing a whole new set of challenges to face off against. However, it also brought in a lot more for the vampires who like to stay at the castle and decorate.
V Rising is a phenomenal open-world survival game that sets the bar for how other Early Access games should strive to be going forward.
A unique twist on the classic crafting survival genre featuring excellent combat and interesting vampire mechanics.
