A game about second chances and about growing up. A game that instills values and that there is always another way even when you are faced with a difficult choice. I recommend this game to those of you that find story is a great deal of importance but will also welcome a nice and challenging game.

A game that transports you into a mystical world of sprites and never-before-seen creatures. A masterpiece on its own right. If you are into this kind of gameplay, then I recommend that you get this game right away.

I can recall how enjoyable it was to play through the final boss of the game as it is not a pure hack and slash kind of boss fight. If you are looking for a game that is similar to Diablo III but is tired of the Diablo III gameplay then this game is something you should check out.

5.5 / 10.0 - Dark Rose Valkyrie
Jun 22, 2017

Overall, Dark Rose Valkyrie is trying to be a game that will supposedly surpass all the other JRPGs but instead it flops hard with all the mess it created. It’s trying to be too many games all at once and it can’t seem to decide what it should be that it loses its identity among all the features. What could have been a breakout game became a game that I would easily want to forget.

Star Trek: Bridge Crew is a fun simulator game. It lets you experience manning a spaceship in outer space. It’s a nice little escape if you’ve ever dreamed of going beyond the space frontier. I really loved staring at its visuals. The vast expanse of space was just breath-taking. I just wish that we could have played this game without having to be always online. But if you have the means to do so, then I would recommend that you play this game. I’ll see you guys in the space frontier. Long live and prosper!

7 / 10.0 - Perception
Jun 9, 2017

Overall, Perception is a relaxing yet tenseful game. A game that lets you experience how it is to lose sight. I can’t imagine having to navigate their world this way and all I can say it’s making me see them in a new light. It makes me thankful for my sight and makes me realize that blind people make do with what they have and still enjoy life as it is. I applaud the developers for bringing this experience to us that which makes me more considerate of what a blind person has to go through everyday.

Although I do appreciate that we get more airtime with the Guardians and experience their relationship with each other firsthand, I just felt I was being deprived of the action. I wanted more space fights, I wanted more action sequences. I wanted to see all of the Guardians in action. I wanted to see the chain of command jumping off from one Guardian to another. I didn't really get to experience that here. It was too far and few in between. The game needs to step it up and I hope that they can improve next episode.

After all that’s said and done, Telltale delivered a game that has a nice story but not compelling enough to be part of the mainstream season. Sure it was a game that had lots of surprises and twists but at the end of the day it was not the game I was really hoping for. I still have high hopes for next season and hopefully we get a season that we finally deserve.

Tekken 7 at its core, is a pure fighting game. It’s a game that has been around for decades and has proven that you can teach old dogs new tricks. With its multitude of features and game modes, Tekken 7 is here to stay. It’s a long-standing game that old and new gamers alike will be able to enjoy. A game that will forever stand the test of time.

8 / 10.0 - Prey
May 23, 2017

Despite the fact that there were technical difficulties, I still enjoyed the game thoroughly. And as much as I would like to talk more details about it, it is better that you explore this dangerous ship to discover them all. It was a fun game from beginning to end. It's a game that tests your morality and compassion. A game that is tailored by how you play it and a game that rewards and punishes you for the things that you do.

6.5 / 10.0 - LocoRoco Remastered
May 23, 2017

All in all, this game is definitely not made for children as they would easily get frustrated by the puzzles and traps in this game. It's a puzzle platforming game at its core and if you just want to waste some time then this game is for you. But if you get frustrated easily with platforming then I suggest you look elsewhere.

7.5 / 10.0 - World to the West
May 5, 2017

I can say though that for an indie game, this still provides a unique and enjoyable experience. Though the graphics is not on par to the likes of Horizon Zero Dawn, it is great in its own unique and quirky way. If you're looking for an adventure that is not Zelda, then this game is for you.

10 / 10.0 - Horizon Zero Dawn
May 3, 2017

Overall, Horizon Zero Dawn made me a believer in new and innovative games. It doesn't mean that a game is new that it cannot be something high-caliber. And Horizon Zero Dawn proved this to me. Playstation and its first-party games have never failed to deliver a blockbuster experience, and Horizon Zero Dawn is up there on that list.

Lego City Undercover is a fun and entertaining game. If you love anything that's Lego and want to immerse yourself in an open world that comes alive and reacts to whatever you do, then this is a game worth playing. The amusement it provides is worthwhile and it's one of those games that you would love going back to. Lego City Undercover is Lego's answer to Grand Theft Auto and I can say that they definitely delivered. And the best part? You can play this with a friend!

Although I can't wait to see what happens in the next episode. It's leaving me feeling like the game has not moved at all. For the last 2 episodes we've only been introduced to one location, not like what we had for the last 2 seasons where almost each episode takes us to a different place. I hope that this game will still be able to reinvent itself and introduce us to more locations and characters in the future. But right now it seems that they slowed things down and just focused on the characters and not the location.

Guardians of the Galaxy is on to a good start and I love how they follow a story that we've never seen before. I cannot wait to see what happens from here on out and hope that we're in for a wild ride. Telltale is definitely on fire.

If you've never played the original, this is a good time to play the game since you will be treated to its enhanced visuals. The story is little to be desired but the game shines with its gameplay. The chaos and the carnage it bring is just so entertaining that you wouldn't really mind about the story at all.

10 / 10.0 - Persona 5
Apr 14, 2017

Overall, Persona 5 has really captured my heart. With 70+ hours of gaming, I haven't had this much fun since the last Persona game. I will definitely keep playing it and will even play it into the New Game+. The New Game Plus allows you to keep certain items that you have gotten from the game but it resets your relationship meter with the characters among other things. If you are into old school JRPG, this is definitely the game you have been waiting for. At its price point the game is totally worth it and even more. I am even willing to spend for this game's DLC. It's just that good. Now let me get back to the game and see if I can pass this school exam.

This game is best played one time through the campaign but can be something that you can enjoy playing with friends if you want something different.

Overall, the Walking Dead continues to deliver a great and compelling story and that it had me following it from start to end. As we move to the penultimate episode, I am excited to see where this all leads up to and what will ultimately happen to this new town and the people we have come to love.
