A unique and fun spin-off that allows us to visit the beloved city from Infinite Wealth and feel like a real pirate – such an opportunity is very rare in modern video games.

It's hard to say for sure that the old Don't Nod from the Life is Strange days is back, but Lost Records seems like a good start to a heartwarming and memorable adventure. The first episode is dragged out and doesn't reveal the most important things, but there's a chance that the second will answer a lot of questions.

Keep Driving skillfully blends various genres without feeling either bloated or lacking. The game turned out to be one of February's most intriguing releases, especially considering we only knew about its launch a short while ago.

A carbon copy of Sniper Elite 5 - it's hard to shake the feeling that two and a half years later you're replaying a game you never intended to return to. I would really like to see a serious evolution of the series - even the once beloved features like X-Ray no longer grab you because at this point they're kinda boring.

A worthy remaster of a good JRPG. It didn't significantly update the game, but that wasn't really necessary – the story, characters, and deep battle system still make it one of the best in the series.

A great action game, the idea of which has been on the surface for a long time, but it has only just now seen the light of day. Marvel fans will be happy, and fans of the genre can try something new and fun, especially if they are tired of Overwatch.

A fun platformer with timeless gameplay. It will be fun for those who enjoy fast-paced games where you only stop occasionally to find secrets.

A worthy competitor to Genshin Impact. A big, beautiful and free game designed to absorb all your free time. If you don't have a strong desire to fill your wardrobe, then microtransactions won't cause any discomfort. For now.

A sequel that didn't significantly change the formula, but improved it and offered to solve a bunch of new unique crimes. The developers' imagination is clearly not exhausted, so we are excited for new games in the series – even if they will not differ from this one in terms of gameplay at all.

A wonderful adventure game that evokes nostalgia for old titles like Monkey Island and Space Quest. The plot is excellent, the puzzles are decent, and it looks fantastic.

An action game for those who miss the odd Japanese games of the PlayStation 3 era, which were mainly released by Sony Japan Studio. An unusual idea and an intriguing plot are combined with outdated graphics and clunky gameplay – everything is exactly as it should be.

Max's return is a disappointment. While it's a perfect Life is Strange game visually, the story and gameplay are a huge letdown. There were so many interesting things that could have been done with Max that it's hard to understand why she was surrounded by such dull characters and couldn't appear in a more compelling story.

A very slow horror game, with slow gameplay and the need to constantly slow down - even when you open the doors. Someone might like this, but even this year there have been enough better projects in the horror genre.

A huge JRPG that takes Atlus to a new level. A wonderful story, exciting battles, and the same brilliant visual style - almost everything here is done perfectly.

A very successful attempt to make an action game in the spirit of Contra series. A fun experience that ends too quickly, but leaves a great lasting impression.

A charming adventure in which, for some reason, the script was put above the gameplay. And this is the kind of game you want to actually play.

A stunning 3D platformer in the spirit of the best Nintendo games. It turned out that the success of Astro's Playroom was not an accident - these developers really know how to create such games and why the audience loves them.

A bog standard racing game that borrowed a lot from its competitors and offered nothing new. And it's always-online, too. Not a complete wreck, but we expected something much better.

Not a typical game for the Star Wars franchise or Ubisoft. There are some interesting ideas in it, but not all of them were implemented well. Still, for the most part, the game turned out to be quite fun, and Ubisoft will not be embarrassed by it. Even though some of us had hoped for more.

An action game with a structure similar to Jedi: Fallen Order, spectacular setpieces similar to modern God of War and a difficulty similar to soulslike games. A fantastic adventure with minor annoyances, and one of the best games of the year.
