This year, such a release was Crushed in Time, simultaneously reminiscent of classic humorous quests from the LucasArts era and attempting to bring something new to the genre. It's not without its typical quest flaws, but the unique, flexible gameplay and solid humor outweigh these few shortcomings—we can't wait to see what else these developers can come up with.

For the most part, the transition to 3D was successful - the new game is about as hard to put down as Super Meat Boy was in 2010. Sadly, in some levels you have to fight with the camera rather than the traps and hazards that Meat Boy encounters.

A decent attempt to create something similar to Left 4 Dead and its numerous imitators, which will be enjoyable to play with friends for at least a couple of days.
