Not flawless, yet a decent remaster that doesn't change the fundamentals of a classic game, still adds so much-needed gameplay and quality of life improvements.

As fantastic as the game looks, as outdated is the gameplay. But for the sake of the story one would agree to tolerate monotonous battles and simplistic combat system.

I don't think we will see Atomfall in any "best of" lists at the end of the year, but the game nonetheless offers an unexpectedly unique and engaging experience.

A great balance between staying true to the roots of the series and implementing new ideas. We've been waiting for Assassin's Creed in Japan for a long time, and the wait was worth it.

Long-time fans of the series will probably continue to resist the emergence of a full-fledged plot, and in some ways they will be right - if the narrative is not going anywhere, it would be better to make it more interesting next time. A carbon copy of Sniper Elite 5 - it's hard to shake the feeling that two and a half years later you're replaying a game you never intended to return to. I would really like to see a serious evolution of the series - even the once beloved features like X-Ray no longer grab you because at this point they're kinda boring.

Helskate is a fun ride, but it suffers a lot from its half-baked technical state and some major flaws in game design.

A worthy remaster of a good JRPG. It didn't significantly update the game, but that wasn't really necessary – the story, characters, and deep battle system still make it one of the best in the series.

Some hardcore RPG old-timers will enjoy every single piece of Caves of Qud, yet the prehistoric visuals and teeth-grinding difficulty could be too much for modern players.
