Critic Reviews for RoboCop: Rogue City - Unfinished Business
RoboCop: Rogue City - Unfinished Business offers another serving of ultra violence to indulge in but doesn’t do much by way of new spins on the original’s action. It’s a form of mindless fun that’s as familiar as it is ferocious.
RoboCop: Rogue City's Unfinished Business is a semi-sequel that primarily focuses on combat to deliver a short but sweet FPS thrill ride.
RoboCop Rogue City Unfinished Business is a repetitive slog coasting on the goodwill of a venerated licensed IP to mask a deadening mix of mediocre shooting, repetitive levels, and a bland story.
Unfinished Business is a great evolution of Teyon's take on RoboCop, with the more focused narrative and progression helping the story to push you through some combat encounters, whilst also adding some excellent lore to the wider world of Alex Murphy. If you enjoyed the first game, and maybe even if you didn't, then I can recommend this return to Detroit. You have more than ten seconds to comply, but resistance is futile.
RoboCop: Rogue City Unfinished Business feels just as fun as the first game, offering interesting additions that reinforce the affection for the 1980s cyborg cop. However, the feeling of repetition and lack of variety persists despite the new features. Furthermore, its technical glitches and bugs hinder the final result more than necessary.

While it doesn’t reinvent anything, Unfinished Business is a satisfying extension for those eager to jump back into RoboCop’s boots.
Robocop: Unfinished Business doesn’t reinvent the wheel; it just straps some spikes on it and rolls it through a burning tower full of mercs.
Unfinished Business isn't a disaster, but it's not something that will stick in the memory of RoboCop fans either. It's a conservative expansion, simply replicating on a smaller scale what worked in the base game, without adding enough personality to make it a must-buy.
