Pyre is one of the most innovative games of our time, combining seemingly incongruous elements: visual novel and fast-paced team sport. Amazing continuation of the legendary series, to which it makes no sense to apply the standards of the old Wolfenstein. MachineGames set new standards for linear story-driven shooters. It is another matter who needs these standards today, what with all the sandbox-openworld-multiplayer-games-as-service thing going on. The success of The New Colossus will partly determine the fate of the genre.

The project, deeply reminiscent of INSIDE, unexpectedly gets to a certain extent and the promise of the 1979 Revolution: Black Friday - in a grotesque manner. FAR: Lone Sails is not long, very simple game, but with perfect rhytm and surprisingly addictive process. So much that you'll want to beat it in one session. And, perhaps, to start anew – it will not reveal something new and will not offer challenges, but it is very pleasant to swim along the waves of its melancholy.
