If in theory Kirby Battle Royale had everything to work out, its execution turns out to be less ideal than expected. While the game stands out much more in multiplayer, it doesn't fully capture the player's interests in the long term and it feels more like a collection of minigames rather than an attempt to crossover the Kirby series with the fighting game genre.

Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions isn't just a remaster of the original classic. It brings the game to the current generations but it also adds a new dimension thanks to the Minion Quest mode, which adding to its rich visuals, memorable and amusing plot and overall quality of the game makes this an adventure more than worth looking into.

Cursed Castilla EX certainly feels like the kind of game it tries to be and it's certainly very good at creating a tough as nails sidescroller that could have perfectly been made in the 1990s. Thanks to its magnificent level design, large amount of content, replay challenge and overall incentives to keep playing, this is one of the most welcome efforts in the contemporary sidescrolling genre.

It could certainly improve on its difficulty level, as it turns out to be too easy and its lifespan would benefit from being extended but the basis for a good take on Kirby is here.

Packing both a management and an exploration component, Ever Oasis will keep players busy and entertained for very long hours thanks to its progression, fun combat and variety of enemies that will be encountered throughout its well extended moments. While the exploration component may not live up to the entirety of its expectations, this is still a very enjoyable game that will absorb its players into very dense moments.
