I strongly recommend Sherlock Holmes: Chapter One to those seeking to sharpen their minds. It isn’t a perfect experience with its noticeable flaws but it is a great game for those who want to put themselves in the shoes of the legendary detective.

Total War: Warhammer III is an excellent game for the strategic mind. Those who wish to build their own empire, dominate, and form alliances will find a lot of content to satisfy their urges. If you’re willing to invest hours of your time into Total War: Warhammer III you’ll find a rich addicting experience.

King of Fighters XV is a decent fighting game, however, I feel it’s a bit overshadowed by others in the fighting genre like Tekken 7 or Street Fighter V which offer better fighting experiences. It’s not that the game is bad, but the King of Fighters XV feels like just a refined version of King of Fighters XIV.

3.5 / 10.0 - Martha is Dead
Feb 24, 2022

Unfortunately, I can’t really recommend Martha Is Dead. It has a slew of problems and wasted potential when it comes to its narrative presentation. And gameplay-wise the game does feel lacking and has nowhere near the impact it clearly wants to have. At the end of the day, it winds up being a more confusing mess than a coherent emotional story.

Persona 4 Arena Ultimax is a good fighting but does suffer from a few drawbacks. It's a good port for the PS4 and is definitely a must-buy for Persona fans. Arc System Works manages to accurately nail what a Persona fighting game should be.

8 / 10.0 - Sniper Elite 5
May 31, 2022

Sniper Elite 5 is a great game with a few flaws that hold it back. It still shines like lens flare at the distance aiming you down. And if you let it shoot, it will catch you by the brain and truly make you do nothing but get sucked into the world of strategic sniping.

6.5 / 10.0 - The Quarry
Jun 8, 2022

I’m a bit divided when it comes to recommending The Quarry. It is a good interactive film that is worth experiencing at least once. It has a couple of significant drawbacks that keep it from truly shining, but it’s a great interactive movie that those who loved Until Dawn will appreciate.

8 / 10.0 - As Dusk Falls
Jul 18, 2022

As Dusk Falls is a tense and exciting drama about crime and the families who get involved in it. If you love crime-drama TV shows, then you'll feel right at home with this game. This storytelling video game feels intense and interesting at every turn. However, you should be aware of its shortcomings and limitations before purchasing.

Amnesia: The Bunker is an amazing step forward for the franchise that isn’t afraid to experiment on established mechanics without deviating too much from its DNA. For survival horror fans, even those who aren’t fans of the run-and-hide formula of the previous Amnesia games, the Bunker is a must to experience.

6 / 10.0 - Exoprimal
Aug 20, 2023

Exoprimal is a fun game but feels like it falls short due to how it can fail to open up until you invest a significant amount of time in the game. The story is worth checking out but don’t expect to be sucked into the gameplay loop of fighting dinosaurs for a long period of time.

Texas Chain Saw Massacre is a fun game but it doesn’t feel like it’s going to last long before you tire of it. Unless you have a dedicated group of friends who’ll play with you, it’s not something we recommend a full purchase on. I recommend waiting for it to go on sale or trying it out on Xbox Game Pass first.

8 / 10.0 - Alan Wake 2
Oct 26, 2023

Alan Wake 2 is a worthy successor to the original. However, it does come with some flaws that may grate older fans. This is the horror genre we've always thought Alan Wake could be if it shed some of its more action elements. After witnessing its gripping horror firsthand, it makes me feel like Alan Wake, too.
