I think that anybody who wouldn't enjoy this game knows who they are. While I wouldn't put Forgotton Anne into the category of an essential for gamers of all types, I would easily recommend playing this game to basically anybody who would give it even a passing interest. It is the type of game that punches way above its weight, and it managed to surprise me. It's available today on PC, Playstation 4, and Xbox One, so if you're still reading this, give it a look.
To compare it to music, this works well as a free mix-tape, but I wouldn't tolerate it as a full album. That said, I'm interested in what the artist's point of view is. If they were to be signed, I'd likely want to check out what they could put out with the support of a record label.
As somebody who's played each entry in the series, I couldn't help but feel a little slighted by Marvel. Despite this, I still really enjoyed the game. It's mechanically sound, and performs incredibly well online. At the time I sat down for this review, the game had almost completely overcome my objections. While it may not be my favorite fighter, it still has me reaching for the controller for more matches.
