The Outer Worlds manages to step out from underneath the shadow of the Fallout franchise and offers an experience that's quite unlike anything else the galaxy has seen this console generation. The game's themes may evoke capitalism and corporate greed, but one will notice how profoundly human it is over course of 30 hours.

What they'll likely realize from playing Attack on Titan 2's campaign mode is how the game feels like a love letter to fans of the anime. While it doesn't do anything new in terms of narrative direction, it somehow gets the foundations that made the first game so fun and makes them even more enjoyable, this time adding a level of depth that makes players feel important.

It's for this reason that it's not hard to see why the game has amassed a following throughout all these years. A memorable Japanese ethos lives and breathes through Amaterasu and all the characters she encounters on her journey, not to mention the world that bursts to color beneath her paws.

Yomawari: Midnight Shadows shines a brave light to eschew some genre conventions, but not all. Though the lack of sound and solemn streets are sure to please anyone who loves horror, the abundance of save points makes death inconsequential, removing some terror that the atmosphere instills.
