he Kaito Files offers a story that works, with an interesting, engaging, well-constructed plot that allows you to learn more about Kaito's character.

Monster Energy Supercross 5 takes all the main gameplay elements of the past edition, without making huge changes. For this reason, despite the work done by the Milestone team being overall quite good, those who expected a clear step forward compared to the earlier entries could be partially disappointed. Among the positive aspects, some tweaks to the physics and greater accessibility should be noted. Among the negative ones, the lack of significant new features stands out: more content would undoubtedly have improved a gaming experience which, however, remains more than enjoyable.

Asterix and Obelix: Slap Them All is a pleasure to watch, not as much to play. The main problem of the title developed by Mr. Nutz Studio is a too simple gameplay, repeated without any changes level after level. Excellent graphics, whose main limitation is the constant reuse of the same assets.

Farming Simulator 22 re-proposes the formula that made the Giants Software series famous, with all its strengths and weaknesses. The new features (new crops, cross-platform multiplayer, new build mode, seasonal cycles) are interesting, but the frequent graphical glitches should be addressed.

7.9 / 10.0 - NHL 22
Nov 2, 2021

NHL 22's gameplay is substantially unchanged from its predecessors. The Frostbite engine brings a breath of fresh air to the graphics, but the gaming experience does not differ dramatically from what has been seen in the past. The result is a fun and full of game modes title, which however would need an update in the game mechanics to be able to take it one step further.

House of Ashes marks a change of pace compared to the previous episodes of the Dark Pictures Anthology, proposing a horror story that also focuses strongly on the action. The plot, which incorporates elements of films such as Aliens, Predator and The Descent – Descent into Darkness, does not shine for originality, but it is still enjoyable and sufficiently articulated.

8.4 / 10.0 - FIFA 22
Sep 27, 2021

FIFA 22 presents itself at the kick-off of the season with a renewed edition, with the much-heralded Hypermotion Technology playing the role of the protagonist. On a technical level, the (numerous) new animations shine above all, while the game structure is partly detached from what has been seen in the past, proposing slightly slower games and with a lower incidence of skills. An interesting choice, which overall works quite well even with some calibration problems (on all goalkeepers) that we hope will be solved as soon as possible through patches.

8.8 / 10.0 - Lost Judgment
Sep 16, 2021

Lost Judgment is a high quality sequel. It's fun to play, despite the few gameplay changes compared to its predecessor, and has a very engaging and well-acted story. There is never a moment of boredom when playing in the role of Takayuka Yagami, moving between Kamarucho and Yokohama in search of the truth, with a thousand doubts in mind, a thousand enemies to defeat and a thousand extra activities to try.

6.7 / 10.0 - Madden NFL 22
Sep 2, 2021

Madden 22 is not a huge step forward in a series that needs to shift gears to return to its former glory. There is no shortage of interesting ideas, too bad that there are quite a few gameplay issues and that some game modes (Face to the Franchise, for example) are way too boring and uninteresting.

The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles is perfect for those who want to take a break from high-paced action games and want to spend a few hours between deductions, clues, evidence and interrogations. Ryunosuke Naruhodo's legal adventures are engaging, boasting excellent writing with imaginative cases (sometimes almost too much), a good dose of twists and great characters. Graphics are alright, but the lack of an Italian localization could make the game almost unplayable for those unfamiliar with the English language.

8.5 / 10.0 - F1 2021
Jul 14, 2021

F1 2021 incorporates (and improves) all the features of the previous F1 games developed by Codemasters. Driving is fun and can be adapted to suit both newbies and those looking for a sufficiently complex experience, although players who look for a full simulation might be slightly disappointed. Game modes are numerous, varied and well structured. Both those who love to run alone and those who prefer to compete with (or against) other players will find something that will keep them busy for months.

Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games fails to revive the glories of the multi-event classics of the past. The development team's surprising choice in disciplines didn't pay off, with so many events lacking in appeal and quickly becoming boring. There are definitely successful moments (athletics, swimming) and with friends you can spend some pleasant hours, but in the long run there are no real reasons to keep playing and winning gold medals.

Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 is a title that continues the path started by its predecessor, placing the thrill of a mercenary sniper's life in a simple, linear and somewhat bland story. A rather predictable but all in all enjoyable experience, with some limitations (and some oddities) in artificial intelligence and an average graphics/sound department.

8.3 / 10.0 - MLB The Show 21
Apr 29, 2021

MLB The Show 21 lands on the new generation of consoles with a limited amount of changes compared to last season. Those who expected a revolution spearheaded by the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S will be partially disappointed. That said, MLB The Show 21 is also an extremely refined title, full of options and fun, able to entertain those who want to face a few innings in total relax and also those who are looking for high-level competition.

Little Hope is, both from a technical and gameplay point of view, a step forward compared to Man of Medan. The changes do not impact the gameplay greatly, but still make the experience more pleasant overall. The storyline is well thought out with numerous branches leading to an interesting plot twist at the end.

There are no special technical annotations. The game flows smoothly and without any particular hitches, with an audio/video compartment virtually identical to last season.

7 / 10.0 - PGA Tour 2K21
Sep 1, 2020

On the golf course, PGA Tour 2K21 is a fairly fun game. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the game modes. The career is way too simple, and even the online does not offer anything exciting. Graphics and sounds are decent, but could be vastly improved.

5.8 / 10.0 - Hunting Simulator 2
Jul 9, 2020

Hunting Simulator 2 is not a game for everyone. Its slow pace makes it potentially interesting only for those who are looking for a game experience that reproduces hunting in all its phases, including extra long boring intervals.

8.6 / 10.0 - F1 2020
Jul 6, 2020

F1 2020 is the perfect title for those who want to enter the world of Formula 1. Graphics and sounds are ok, there are many game modes and, thanks to the different settings available, the driving system can be adapted to the needs of a wide range of virtual pilots.
