A nice concept with just one too many issues to make it worthwhile.
A competent game which has little wrong with it, but just won't leave an impression.
A nice and inviting title that doesn't set the world alight, but is happy to simply entertain your spare time.
A real missed opportunity, it should be done better and has been before.
An amazing story based on actual events. KHOLAT is a standout game in a genre that often fails to deliver.
LEGO Jurassic World follows the tried and tested formula but is missing that little bit of magic, despite John Williams' amazing score being part of the expereince.
A solid platformer, with interesting mechanics and loads of charm. Adventures of Pip is a fantastic addition to a crowded genre.
Good concepts are fine, but if you cannot back those up with solid gameplay, then unfortunately it is always going to be a lost cause.
A masterpiece and a game that you must play, because it is that damned important.
MotoGP 15 is a cracking game and even if it doesn't tick all the boxes for a serious racer, it does for those with an outside interest. A worthy addition to the genre.
Amazing, simply amazing. Rocket League has the perfect balance of fun and competitive gameplay and is a must for…well anyone really.
A game of two parts, one that makes you feel so relaxed within its world and another that just about works, but feels like it doesn't quite belong in this experience.
Blues and Bullets is a showcase in how to open the story of an episodic videogame.
A wonderful experience from beginning to end. King's Quest is just wonderful
Lovely visuals cannot save Risen 3 from falling way short in the overall quality stakes.
A solid game, with a few minor port issues, but at a budget price one you should be at least flirting with the idea of playing.
A few niggles stop this being a 10, but Forza Motorsport 6 is a damn fine package and excels where it counts.
A game that should become a cult/sleeper hit of 2015. Not perfect by any means, but great fun for the most part.
Most of what made the original Destiny a good game is still there, but the overhauls and tweaks to the lesser parts have given Destiny the sort of boost it needed. It was hard to see how this could serve as a long term franchise after the initial release but now, I am counting down the days until year 3.
A broken buggy mess of a game without one single redeeming feature. Avoid like the plague.
