8 / 10 - Blasphemous
Oct 7, 2019

While lacking in sheer variety, what's there is solid. The art style and atmosphere is spectacular, and combat is intense and bloody.

While not perfect, what's there is jaw-droppingly gorgeous, plus it has heart and brains. If you're a fan of roguelikes, Children of Morta is well worth your time.

The Sinking City is an ambitious attempt to bring a fresh take to the world of Lovecraft. If you're an unabashed fan of the lore, or don't mind repetitive gameplay, you'll enjoy what's on offer here. Otherwise, you'll probably end up going slowly mad.

7 / 10 - Steel Rats
Nov 13, 2018

Steel Rats is a fine entry into the clearly niche 2.5D stunt-bike puzzle brawler market. It's a blast to play, and well worth a look if you're a fan of arcade games.
