I write about video games for God is a Geek. I'm a pretty cool guy, just ask my mum.

If you can look past the weak story and the dull characters, Mirror's Edge Catalyst has some of the best gameplay mechanics on the current gen by far.

Does a good job of showcasing the spirit of the turtles, but never reaches its potential and will let you down with repetitive combat, lack of local co-op and bland environments.

Another solid entry into the series and fans of the series so far will love the new challenges it presents.

Warhammer is an excellent turn-based strategy that takes the best of Total War and Warhammer, and melds them together wonderfully.

4 / 10.0 - Shadwen
May 23, 2016

A disappointing stealth title that could have been so much more, giving you little more than a few hours of enjoyment before everything begins to grate on you.

7.5 / 10.0 - Shadow of the Beast
May 16, 2016

A surprisingly fun platformer that'll keep you hooked with its fluid combat and varied boss fights.

Big Pharma’s Marketing and Malpractice DLC breathes new life into the relatively simple strategy sim by playing havoc with your moral compass.

Hitman's second mission in Sapienza is a great example of fantastic gameplay, with plenty of replayability and one of the most stunning environments I've ever seen.

7.5 / 10.0 - Goetia
Apr 26, 2016

Goetia is a difficult point-and-click adventure that tests your resolve, with an engaging story and some beautiful visuals.

What We Deserve is a great end to the series, but some technical issues and a few story choices make it the weakest of the three episodes.

9.5 / 10.0 - The Banner Saga 2
Apr 19, 2016

The Banner Saga 2 continues the fantastic story or Rook, Hakon, Alette and Bolverk, with dynamic combat and the Horseborn keeping the battle boards fresh and unique with every fight.

8 / 10.0 - The Collider 2
Apr 19, 2016

The Collider 2 is a fast-paced race to galactic supremacy, giving you reason to stick with it and compete in its labyrinth of challenges.

The second episode of Michonne’s story improves on the first, but the same old Telltale technical issues lurk like a herd of walkers in the shadows.

8 / 10.0 - Organic Panic
Mar 28, 2016

Playing with others is definitely the way to go, but if you want to kill a few hours here or there, Organic Panic is the perfect time-waster.

5 / 10.0 - Ares Omega
Mar 24, 2016

Ares Omega provides a challenge, but it lacks anything outside of its vanilla campaign and repetitive combat.

A great reminder of a game developer proud of its achievements, and rightly so. With the opportunity to play some of the finest point-and-click adventures ever, you won’t be disappointed with the sheer amount of fun on offer.

9 / 10.0 - EA Sports UFC 2
Mar 15, 2016

UFC 2 is an great MMA game, providing the most authentic and fun game on the market, adding yet another string to EA Sports’ bow, even if the career mode is a little empty.

Samurai Warriors 4 Empires breathes life into a tried and tested formula, helping even the most hardcore Musou fans find something refreshing to experience.

Playing the first episode of Hitman brought back fond memories of unique kills from previous titles, with the grander and more compelling scale of the game adding tons of replayability. I don't doubt there will be those left frustrated with the game's short length, but its focus on great gameplay is where Hitman truly shines. Even though you only feel like you've dipped your toes in the water, the first instalment of Hitman leaves a lot of promise for the rest of the series.

The Town of Light is a powerful experience and you'll certainly be affected by its story. There are a few issues with music breaks and some of the things you'll see may provide too upsetting, but overall you'll never forget your time in Volterra.
