All in all, Balan Wonderworld just wasn’t the game for me. The gameplay was tedious, the story was all over the place and the mechanics belonged to either a prehistoric or an unfinished game. To be quite honest, I’d say that the price to get into Balan Wonderworld is too high for an experience with the quality too low.
Being a big fan of Nickelodeon, I was happy with all of the beloved characters jam-packed into Nickelodeon Kart Racers 2: Grand Prix, But the absence of voice lines, sub-par sound design, and dull maps smeared a bit of slime to an otherwise above-average game.
Hitting finishing moves, climbing up the top of a cage, and hitting your opponent with a motorcycle is fun and WWE 2K Battlegrounds lets you do that, but the overabundance of microtransactions from cosmetics to unlocking wrestlers is made worst by its lack of depth in combat. If I was the great wrestling analyst Dave Meltzer, I’d give this match only 2.5 stars out of 5.
All in all Street Power Soccer is a good sports party game. Its wide selection of characters, awesome soundtrack, and beautiful street courts deliver for a solid street soccer experience. So gather your friends and start hitting them power-up fueled goals.
What makes PGA TOUR 2K21 special is its ability to make you feel like you’re really playing the prestigious game of Golf. The excellent commentators, The courses brimming with life, and the excellent gameplay mechanics all combine for an experience that all players of all skill levels will truly enjoy.
Moving Out separates itself from the other games in the couch co-op landscape. It can be played casually, just get a bunch of your friends and you can breeze through the campaign with little to no problem, but if you decide to brave the hidden levels, your perseverance and skill will be rewarded with that Dark Souls-like euphoria that is very rare in video games. The special part is that you get to experience that feeling of euphoria together.
My Friend Pedro is easily one of the most stylish and action-filled games of the last decade. It’s breakneck speed to the finish line left me wanting more. It’s a great case for the age-old argument “are video games art?”. For my money, I think My Fred Pedro is.
Overall, I enjoyed my time with LEGO DC Super Villains. It told a unique and entertaining story that could rival any from the DC cinematic universe. The game may have been filled with villains, but the real enemy was not the Joker, Lex Luthor or even the Justice Syndicate. The real Villain was the game’s bugs.
