Broforce is an excellent example of how a game based on a classic concept can attract a modern player.

Assassin's Creed Chronicles: India is a frustrating excursion to the world of assassins and templars. The only thing the game has going for it is the art style.

Feb 18, 2016

Despite the fact that Firewatch is the debut of Campo Santo, the developers have succeeded in creating an interesting adventure, altough with a slightly dissapointing finale.

Feb 25, 2016

KLAUS is a successful debut of a small studio with a big heart. The game won't let you go until you reach the end credits. Giving Klaus a chance is worth it because good platformers are rarer and rarer.

Far Cry Primal is still a good game like its predecessors, but regrettably, Ubisoft is treading the same old waters. However, if you want "just" another Far Cry, you're at the right spot. So far, this recipe is still working, but the next entry of the franchise deservers more innovations.

Layers of Fear is in some ways a masterpiece. Not perfect, but without a doubt excellent. The great atmosphere and the perfect transformation of the environment are elements that'll be appreciated by many horror fans.

Blood Alloy: Reborn is a title that doesn't give a good name to its developers. If they just copied the classic Metroidvania recipe, the situation could be quite different, but at the moment, the game resembles a demo or a beta version.

Even after 23 years, Day of the Tentacle is still the same good adventure game. The time that passed since the release of the original version didn't hurt the game and it still offers plenty of humor, nice puzzles, good voice acting and hours of entertainment. The younger audience may not be fully satisfied, but every single player should still try it.

Adam's Venture: Origins is the best example of an mediocre adventure game, which has one big issue and that's the technical part of the game. It's shame, because otherwise Adam's Venture is an interesting story full of various puzzles. If you like Indiana Jones and the adventure genre, then you can experience a decent story, but don't expect anything innovative.

70% - MXGP2
Apr 19, 2016

MXGP2 is among the best in the Milestone portfolio. It's not a perfect product, but motocross fans shouldn't miss the game. Don't be discouraged by the initial difficulty, you'll just need a little training and tougher nerves. The game offers a lot of content with an official license, but it's a pity that the developers were unable to complete their efforts in full.

This War of Mine: The Little Ones is an interesting title depicting a war conflict through the eyes of children. It doesn't lack strong moments, moral choices, depression or fear for the characters you'll be entrusted with. As a whole, it offers an experience that you'll not find elsewhere. If you've played the original game on a PC or mobile device, don't expect much new stuff, but newcomers should give it a chance.

Mortal Kombat XL delivers everything that should have been included in the original game. Which means, great diversity of fighters and a number of costumes that had to be bought as DLC before. If you're looking for a good fighting game, Mortal Kombat XL is a best chapter in whole series.

Naughty Dog have done it once again! They were able to top all the other predecessors and in Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, created an masterpiece of action adventure genre. This is a gem of a video game with huge amount of small details, which create a cohesive experience like never before. The last chapter of Nathan Drake's story simply couldn't end with a bigger bang.

The new Shadow of the Beast is good, but not as good as the fans would like. It's still quite fun, but the story mode is pitfully short, which is the biggest problem. However, if you decide to discover everything it offers, you'll certainly spend a few entertaining hours here.

Jun 9, 2016

The new DOOM is a great example of how a modern game based on concepts from 23 years ago can work. Despite the fact that the game doesn't bring anything new, it is a grand entertainment, which is only let down by the unremarkable multiplayer.

Mirror's Edge Catalyst tries hard to engage players and develop the concept outlined in the original game further, but it doesn't completely succeed. It's a pity that the developers haven't put a a little more effort into it and it's kind of a missed opportunity. If you're a fan of the first game, Catalyst will surely delight you, but the rest of the players may not be interested.
