Jagged Alliance 3 is an all-around fun game that delivered exactly what we expected from it despite its flaws, which can get on our nerves, especially in the tactical part. Ultimately, though, it's not so bad that it ruins your experience of the game as a whole.

8 / 10 - Atomic Heart
Feb 21, 2023

Atomic Heart is a fun game showing a fascinating, well-built, visually impressive alternate world that handles everything it needs to do well. The action passages are significant, the abilities, weapons, and their use are fun, the difficulty is balanced, and it has excellent optimization so you can enjoy it smoothly even on older machines; the Russian dub is delightful, the English dub a little less so but still good, and Mick Gordon's impeccable soundtrack gets your adrenaline pumping whenever you need it. It's just a great action FPS with RPG elements. On the other hand, some animations and models are weaker, the picture tutorials are annoying, and the story is cliché. It's the first Bioshock, almost one-to-one, just in a Russian setting. However, this is balanced out by the awe-inspiring world it takes place in, which makes it sufficiently novel and original.

7 / 10 - ELEX II
Mar 5, 2022

Elex 2 is basically a typical Piranha Bytes game with everything that comes with it. The good and the bad. And while it's probably technically inferior to the first one, it's much better in storytelling, content, mechanics, and world-building. It has all the things that were missing from the first game. It's fun, it draws you into its magical world, and it won't let you go until dozens of hours later if you give it a chance. But that can be problematic, as the game's technical state, weird 3D models, animations, and crappy optimization can effectively put you off in the first hour of play. Ultimately, it's just fun. But at what cost?

9 / 10 - 7th Sector
Apr 5, 2020

7th Sector is masterly crafted game. It fiddles around some well known transhumanistic themes but it looks at them from quite original perspective. Breathtaking visuals are inspired by socialistic structures and Russian brutalist architecture placed in dystopic future. The game gives player several hours full of mathematic, geometric and physical based puzzles some of which aren't properlly balanced. However it's great game suitable for every player, that likes this videogame genre.

7 / 10 - Borderlands 3
Oct 15, 2019

Borderlands 3 has all the good things we loved in its predecessors and upgrades them a little. On the other hand it still has all the problems of Borderlands 2 and a few new ones. It’s fun to play, it has great feeling and it still is the best loot & shoot game on the market. However it also has some game design problems and more than a few technical difficulties that spoil gameplay and just shouldn’t be part of modern AAA titles. That being said it’s still a must for every fan of the series and every gamer who wants to became badass crimson raider traveling impossible galaxy full of insane creatures.

5 / 10 - Truberbrook
Oct 7, 2019

Trüberbrook is visually and musically pleasing adventure game based on a solid idea and interesting story pitch. However story itself is not so good. Plot twists fall flat, dialogues have a lot of problems be that in the way they are written or in the way there are said. Solution of many puzzles is plain stupid and graphical user interface could be better. All of this spoils overall gaming experience. In my humble opinion Trüberbrook might work better as a short movie than a videogame which is kind of sad.

Vacation Simulator brings nothing new to the table and is basically same as Job Simulator. It's a nice game for a short period of time, however it starts to be repetitive after a while. Dialogues and texts are pretty funny but it's just not enough for game to be enjoyable for a longer periods of time. It can be entertaining enough for younger players and kids if they are able to understand one of the languages of the game.

5 / 10 - Draugen
Jul 10, 2019

Draugen has several good ideas from the pen of well known Norwegian game designer Ragnar Tornquist. It has solid dialogues, interesting characters and the storyline is quite original. However there are several problems with details be that in graphical and technical area or story-wise. Obvious effort to shock the player with several story elements are degrading otherwise interesting theme about psyche of individual and effects of isolation on ones mind. That being said Draugen is still pretty good game for people, who like this subgenre of adventure games or other works of Ragnar Tornquist.

In short, if you are an artistic soul who likes well-built worlds and philosophical questions arising from an interesting story, go ahead. Otherwise avoid the game because you will be disappointed.

If there is something what Keen Software House has prove to the players in last five years, it's that they keep with their word. They didn't leave their community and they are keep trying solve even the long-term problems or shortcomings. The game is definitely not perfect. However it offers an experience in which you can lost yourself for a long time. It constantly supplies you with dopamine for solving all the particular problems. If you are a sandbox gamer and if you like science fiction and you also love to create and even destroy things, you should give Space Engineers a chance.

The game is not very long, it can go for some five hours. Within this time, however, you will be able to hear an interesting story of the Second World War from the point of view of children's innocent childhood. And even though it happened once or twice that there was a technical error, it is ultimately a nice, well-tuned title with progressive difficulty.
