PRIM is a great little point-and-click adventure game with well-designed characters in a creepy yet endearing setting. The story is interesting and leaves you wanting more after the rather short playing time. The ending definitely raises hopes for a second part, which might then take you on a somewhat longer excursion into the underworld.

A gripping story, well-written dialog and incredibly beautiful background music ensure that Closer the Distance takes you on an emotional journey that will move you. The approximately 11 hours of game time fly by and invite you to take a second trip to Yesterby. The needs management feature is unfortunately quite superfluous, but that doesn't detract much from the game's great overall package. Just the thing for the next cozy autumn evening on the couch at home.

Hauntii is moving and thought-provoking without being forced. The game may not be particularly challenging, but it doesn't have to be, because the focus is clearly elsewhere: beautiful images, a great soundtrack and an interesting story take you on a great journey into eternity.

CLeM is a small but lovingly designed puzzle adventure game that is perfect for a cozy evening on the couch or for a short puzzle fun in between. With a playing time of only around three hours, this indie title is not really long-term entertainment, but it doesn't have to be. With a great drawing style, a slightly spooky atmosphere and well-designed puzzles, the title stands out in its very own way and is well worth a place in your games library.

What Stray Gods: The Roleplaying Musical is not is a video game with innovative game design or creative game elements. Instead, the title shines with a gripping story, great images, high-quality music and an interesting implementation of the Greek god mythology. So if you like to influence a beautiful story, create your own little musical, and are cool with experiencing a rather passive gaming experience as a text adventure, you won't go wrong here and will have a good time.

Dave the Diver is a small surprise of the gaming year so far. With a coherent and complex overall package and a lot of creative ideas and attention to detail, the indie title does a lot right and will probably earn a top position on the permanent favorites list of many players.

Curse of the Sea Rats is a good game for those who want to get into the Metroidvania genre or don't have too high demands on the technical implementation. Veterans, on the other hand, might still lack the final touch, especially in direct comparison with the genre classics. Otherwise, Curse of the Sea Rats is quite entertaining with about 12 hours of gameplay and a detailed world.

In a nutshell, Potion Permit is a good game for all gamers who are simply looking for a simple game to relax a bit while gaming. The game is pretty and can be quite entertaining, but it also has a few weak points. Those who simply want to switch off a bit at the end of the day will have fun with Potion Permit.

Hell Pie shows that it doesn't necessarily need a huge open world or an endlessly complex story to create a good game. The combination of the sometimes super-silly humor and the detailed worlds have ensured that I have become a real fan of Nate and Nugget. Even though I still encountered one or two bugs: the game doesn't have to hide from the "big" platformer heroes at all and provides several hours of fun. I'm curious to see if Nate and Nugget can establish themselves in the world of Spyro and Crash Bandicoot and if we'll see more of the likeable duo.

Summer in Mara has real potential to become a strong indie game with an addictive element. However, it still lacks too many nooks and crannies to be really fun all the time. At the moment Summer in Mara is something for those players who are looking for a very simple adventure game, which can be played on the side and doesn't demand too much attention.

Blacksad: Under the Skin is an exciting adventure game that will take you back to the 50s. Only in the technical implementation there are flaws that cloud the overall picture of the game. Apart from that, Blacksad entertains well and offers some entertaining hours, especially for fans of detective stories.

A little minecraft and a pinch of Harvest Moon paired with action RPG elements make Dragon Quest Builders 2 a fun game with a few smaller corners and edges. If you can get along with the mass of text and the rather simple story, you get a really fun game that can captivate for hours.

Overall, Windscape is a successful indie title. An affectionately arranged world with many facets invites to some hours of fun. The game isn't perfect and doesn't offer the greatest challenge, but entertains well over the season and has its own charm. For fans of RPGs and Action Adventures it's well worth a look. Due to its rather short-lived quests it can also be played with little time and doesn't need any intensive activity like most RPGs. Windscape is therefore a kind of mini role playing game, which works very well without a skill system.
