Resident Evil 4 succeeds for two key reasons: to keep the game as we knew it, but only touching what needed to be touched for the experience to be full. While it is true that it is not as surprising as the previous two (especially Resident Evil 2), mainly because the original game is not so old, Capcom has been very smart keeping the bulk of the story and gameplay and polishing only what needed it.

So we can only recommend this game even if it does not seem "your style". Pentiment is dynamic, fun and engaging and we believe that it is worth enjoying by any type of player, because it is a safe bet that you will love.

Vampire: The Masquerade-Swansong promised to return us to the metaverse of The Masquerade with a narrative title, perfect to know and explore everything it can offer. Unfortunately, it remains in a messy story, perhaps too ambitious for what the study of itself could really give and with a plot and character development that does not offer everything it promised.

Tormented Souls could have been a round game if it had managed to better balance its playable aspect. Elements such as an unclear map, unintuitive design when guiding the player, few save points or the difficulty of enemies tarnish an experience that would otherwise have resulted in ten. Even so, it is a curious game, full of nods to the genre and that will undoubtedly delight the purists of the most complex survival horror experiences.

Resident Evil 4 is still a marvel. Its history, villains, characters and everything that surrounds it have made the title one of the great must-sees of the genre. Despite not having aged too well, it continues to be a benchmark of the genre and a game that marked a before and after when launched on the market. Now it remains only to hope that Resident Evil 4 Remake is a reality and that, who knows, it picks up the baton of its predecessor taking the GOTY.

Werewolf: The Apocalypse- Earthblood is a correct game that complies with what is proposed. Despite not contributing anything new to the genre and its technical deficiencies, it is entertaining, and enjoyable, with an elaborate history that could certainly be used more in future projects of the study.

Call of The Sea is a Lovecraftian adventure recommended both for fans of the genre and for those who want to enjoy a light and well-narrated adventure. Tell Me Why is a conversational adventure that follows the vein of previous titles in the genre. But that, thanks to its history, its interesting playable elements, decisions and characters, it becomes a game of its own, without the need to enter into comparisons. And also in a pleasant surprise for Xbox Game Studios. We can't say much more. Just that you are encouraged to meet the Ronan twins because they will surely conquer you and we are waiting for many more titles like this to launch on Xbox Game Pass.

Battletoads is a breath of fresh air to the saga and a successful beat'em up. Although it is repetitive in certain parts, especially in the beat'em up, it is a fun, fast and addictive proposal. Its charismatic characters will catch us from the first moment, inviting us both to continue advancing and to want to know the story until the end. It has been a whopping 16 years to enjoy a new installment of the saga, but the wait has been worth it. We hope it won't take that long to continue enjoying Rash, Pimple, and Zitz, because they deserve to stay long on Xbox Series X.

Destroy All Humans! is a remake that manages to live up to it, improving on what was played in 2005. The game is a scathing satire of cold war America and its gameplay, characters and above all setting will catch us. Without being any technical wonder, it delivers what it promises. So you already have a mission for this summer, perhaps the most important of your lives: to destroy all humans.

Despite the interesting nature of its proposal, Konami does not manage to show off with Arcade Classics Anniversary Collection. Although the games it incorporates are authentic classics, many more titles that offer better gameplay, a greater variety of the genre and a greater number of games are missing. Despite this, if you are fans of the genre or want to discover the origin of current video games, you can give it a try.

Hollow Knight recovers the essence of metroidvania on Xbox One. Team Cherry does a good job with Hollow Knight, offering us balanced and well-executed combat, varied enemies and incredible artistic design. Not to mention the content, which is very vast thanks to its complete editing. It is true that its platforms are quite simple and that it does not bring anything new to the metroidvania genre. As castlevania: Symphony of The Night or Ori and The Blind Forest did at the time. But even so, Hollow Knight is a highly recommended game for both fans of the genre and those who want to try it for the first time.

Although as a remastering it does not provide great news and the bosses and enemies are not as varied as they should be, Voodoo Vince: Remastered offers us a very fun adventure, brimming with humor and with varied and very well carried out puzzles and platforms.
