DOOM: The Dark Ages reinvents the saga with a brutal medieval prequel that maintains its frenetic essence while introducing new features such as the Chainsaw Shield (with parry mechanics) and epic combat riding dragons or piloting Titans. Although the resolution on Xbox Series S is a weak point, the game shines with an extensive campaign, levels full of secrets, an electrifying OST, and exquisitely choreographed violence. An essential experience for fans and a benchmark for modern shooters, proving once again that DOOM is timeless.

The First Berserker: Khazan demonstrates that Neople Studios has perfectly grasped the essence of the Souls-like genre, offering an experience that respects FromSoftware's tradition while introducing fresh and dynamic mechanics. With deep and customizable combat, an immersive narrative, and impeccable technical design, the game manages to stand out in a market saturated with imitations. Its balance of challenge and accessibility, along with its dark anime aesthetic and memorable soundtrack, make it a highly recommended option for fans of the genre. Although it's too early to talk about awards, The First Berserker: Khazan is shaping up to be one of the most solid and exciting action titles of the year.

Oblivion Remastered modernizes the 2006 classic with Unreal Engine 5 (RTX/DLSS) graphics, updated interfaces, and tweaks to combat and progression, but keeps its essence intact, both in terms of dialogue, glitches, and other systems provided by the original title.

This is a very difficult title to analyze due to the wide variety of mechanics it has from level to level, to the point where you might be playing a kind of Metroidvania or a game with a top-down view, but no level will leave you feeling inferior to another . Hazelight has done some of its best work on this title, and it should be a must-play for couples or with friends.

If you're a fan of soulslike and 2D Metroidvania-style games, this is a title you should definitely play . Oh, and one detail I must mention before finishing this analysis, the voice of the narrator that accompanies us throughout the game is that of Geralt of Rivia himself and the jokes that appear also seem to be taken from this very character.

Taxi Life fails at everything. The performance is very poor, the AI makes gameplay very difficult, and the recreation of Barcelona falls very short in terms of scale. It needs time and a lot of work to become the game it should have been.

Alan Wake 2 completely changes the gameplay concept of its predecessor. Now it's a survival horror with detective overtones and the formula has suited it perfectly. With Resident Evil 2 as a great inspiration, Remedy's new film takes the definitive step in terms of narrative and offers a thrilling story that connects all of their previous works. One of the best games of the year.

Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty is a must-have content for any Cyberpunk 2077 player, especially if you've been left wanting to discover new adventures. It is not only that it expands the experience of the original game, but that it improves it with its own successful and vibrant plot, with missions that take advantage of the new gameplay giving us incredible moments and immersing us fully in a thriller of spies and special agents.

In conclusion, Lies or P is a title that you can not miss if you love FromSoftware games. Here you can enjoy a new adventure in a fascinating and original environment. Taking Pinocchio and his story as the central theme results in a captivating experience that will make you feel like you're playing a "Souls" for the first time.

New Star GP kicks off its journey in Early Access with a game that promises a lot. And not only does it promise, but it also offers a design, modes and concept that is unique in its kind. And above all, I haven't found any bugs in the month I've been playing it, and it's not strange at all since New Star Games is known for making games with a lot of love.

It is difficult to find faults with Starfield and those that we mentioned the truth is that they do not tarnish the final result. Starfield is one of the best games of the year (which is no small thing in this fantastic 2023) and one of the best games in Xbox history. Bethesda has created a game that will mark an era and that will serve as an example for other studios that are encouraged to undertake their own journey in space.

Street Fighter 6 is the latest installment in Capcom's legendary franchise. Redfall is an entertaining and very fun game to play with a colleague or a team of four people, taking down hordes of Vampires and saving survivors and fulfilling objectives of the shelter. Its person-enhancing mechanics and movement agility give a unique twist to the Arkane Studios title, hooking the player quickly and keeping them exploring Redfall's not-so-large open map.

While it is true that there are things that can be improved, Minecraft Legends is a good game, with everything you need to get hooked during the 25-20 hours that its campaign lasts, which added to the replayability offered by its procedural world can ensure hours and hours of play. Not highlighting anything makes everything work and fun to play, even more so when you already have everything under control. I can do nothing but recommend that you try Minecraft Legends, even more so when it will be available on Xbox Game Pass on the day of its release.

Resident Evil 4 succeeds for two key reasons: to keep the game as we knew it, but only touching what needed to be touched for the experience to be full. While it is true that it is not as surprising as the previous two (especially Resident Evil 2), mainly because the original game is not so old, Capcom has been very smart keeping the bulk of the story and gameplay and polishing only what needed it.

An outstanding musical section that we cannot fail to highlight is the perfect companion to be able to say that we are facing one of the most outstanding games so far this year and that, without a doubt, should be a candidate for some other award when it comes to taking stock of this 2023. We have been disappointed by its open world and the treatment that is made of it, but it more than makes up for it with a magnificent interior level design, with little to envy to the big names in which it is inspired. Best of all, Atomic Heart comes out to Xbox Game Pass and if you are a subscriber of the service you can see for yourself everything we have been talking about. If you like unbridled action, it would be a crime for you to miss it, comrade.

Hogwarts Legacy is not only the best Harry Potter game created to date, but it is also a good RPG for those who are not lovers of the franchise. The care that Avalanche Software has given in each and every one of the elements of the game is worthy of admiration, being able to realize the dream that many of us had as children: to have an experience in the magical world.
