Assassin's Creed The Ezio Collection on Nintendo Switch brings to Nintendo's hybrid console a triptych of chapters a little afflicted by the ravages of time, but still precious for the historical memory of the franchise.

Sherlock Holmes: Chapter One is a pleasant tale of origins and investigation, which continues frogwares' extremely intimate and introspective approach to the character created by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. The game often stumbles upon the narrative errors of its predecessor, not sufficiently delving into some crucial ideas in the epilogue of the adventure.

Deck Nine knows how to make the most of its characters, and in this sense the DLC of Life is Strange: True Colors does not disappoint. Steph's story is quite intense on an emotional level and will appeal especially to fans of the first chapter of the series, but it stumbles on the playful front.

The EA Sports revolution comes to life in FIFA 22 for next gen, but in our opinion we are facing a starting point and certainly not a goal for Canadian football. The novelties guaranteed by Hypermotion Technology, a real pillar of this year's offer, give the scenic impact and gameplay a realism that is unprecedented for the series.

Life is Strange: True Colors is the most extensive and ambitious chapter of the Square-Enix series, but it does not reach the narrative depth of the previous chapters. While declining in a precious way the theme of empathy and forgiveness, some narrative choices and certain script ideas would perhaps have deserved a greater deepening.

The Siege of Paris rests solidly on the playful and technical foundations of Assassin's Creed Valhalla, and in some respects does not reach the scenic heights of Eivor's Irish journey. France is an open world less beautiful to look at and more contained in terms of extension, but more dense and varied on the front of activities.

Inspired and delicate on the visual and musical side, Omno's journey does not convince to the end, also thanks to a somewhat hasty ending and a moral conveyed with slight superficiality.

The Ascent is an ambitious work, which fascinates with incredible atmospheres and visually breathtaking scenery. Unfortunately, the exceptional production effort made on the sets and modeling of the game world does not hide some problems related to the balance of the gameplay and the quality of the script.

While not revolutionizing the experience of its predecessor, Subnautica: Below Zero enriches and expands unknown worlds' excellent playful insights, packing a stimulating and inspired narrative survival. Druids' wrath is ultimately good additional content for assassin's creed valhalla season pass. The Irish expansion provides a challenging and stimulating experience, and in terms of quantity the content proposed in the DLC has been more than satisfactory. It is in essence, however, that Eivor's new adventure would have needed a greater refine: the narrative component, more linear and less disorganic than the English countryside, lends itself to several drops in rhythm while proposing some interesting characters.

Fun and spectacular, but not very brave. More than a sequel, My Hero One's Justice 2 is an updated version of its predecessor, more refined, more fluid and with some additional content.

As fans of One-Punch Man, in any case, in the new license licensed by Bandai Namco you will find a lot of fanservice with pleasure, from the characterization of a rather large roster to the reconstruction of a crackling universe.

In short, ReMind is an operation not fully successful - especially thanks to the price at which it is offered - but at the same time fundamental for clearing up the ideas on the complicated future of the Square Enix saga.

NieR Automata is now available for Xbox One, and this news should be enough, on its own, to get all microsoft console owners to purchase the ticket. The work of Platinum Games directed by Yoko Taro is an explosion of virtuosity mixed with artistic suggestions of various kinds, which draw as much from the video game industry as from cinema and the best science fiction literature; the whole thing is amalgamated in a playful formula as solid as it is courageous, which continues to find its weakest points in an end game too poor for an action RPG and in a technical sector that lends its side to some drop in performance in the face of such adrenaline-pumping and spectacular gameplay. The Become as Gods Edition on Xbox introduces many small improvements to the defects outlined so far, bringing to the shelves of the users of the Redmond giant a definitive and more refined version in relation to the original.
