6 / 10.0 - Felix the Cat
Apr 6, 2024

Felix The Cat returns in a two-pack of platformers from 30 years ago. The nostalgia hit is evident but not enough to justify its price. It's appreciated that Konami has taken an interest in unearthing a gem of its era, but the treatment of the package is very poor. The lack of extras or improvements on a technical level is somewhat disappointing. It's a nice attempt to bring back Felix The Cat, but it's not the tribute he deserves.

Infinity Strash: DRAGON QUEST The Adventure of Dai is a missed opportunity for fans of Dai (known as The Adventures of Fly in the West) who were hoping for a good game to revive the franchise. Despite the dedication to telling the story, the game is mediocre and fails to encompass everything seen in the anime remake. In short, it joins the list of anime-based games that fail to live up to their expectations and squander their potential.

6 / 10.0 - Various Daylife
Sep 27, 2022

Various Daylife is an RPG originally designed for mobiles with the intention of being played for short periods of time. It has well-designed battle mechanics, and despite trying to provoke a sense of routine, players with little patience for casual systems will leave it after a couple of hours.

The House of The Dead: Remake bets on nostalgia and tries to renew itself while leaving its arcade essence intact. Sadly, controls are not precise and makes it frustrating in a short time. If you overcome this huge problem, its new art direction that gives the impression of being an old game and adjust to its shortcomings, The House of The Dead: Remake becomes fun to deliver you a simple and action-packed experience.

Unfortunately, we are facing a completely forgettable game. With a story mode that has many pacing problems, the experience becomes annoying really fast. It may be enjoyed by anime fans.

6.5 / 10.0 - Disney Speedstorm
May 11, 2023

Disney Speedstorm is a solid racing game that falls victim to the free to play format, with a repetitive reward system full of loot boxes. The lack of content and slow progression make it get boring in no time.

6.5 / 10.0 - Mothmen 1966
Jul 18, 2022

Mothmen 1966 brings us closer to the past by portraying the architecture of old computers and bringing the pulp genre to life. The sci-fi story grabs you from the start if you are willing to give in and ignore the lack of interaction.

METACRITIC: Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris had the potential to be a standout game with a dynamic battle system and good RPG mechanics. However, the pacing is agonizingly slow and has unforgivable tecnical issues. Sadly, it's only recomended for fans of the series or players with máximum patience.

Tales of Arise: Beyond The Dawn tells us what happened after the original adventure with a solid story and an endearing character, but fails to recycle everything else. While the storyline is good, the lack of new content makes us doubt the value of this new expansion. Tales of Arise: Beyond The Dawn is only for those who were left wanting to know what happened next, and are looking for a reason to return to the world of Tales of Arise.

Super Bomberman R 2 includes everything that worked in the past in a single package with few new features. The story mode is short and repetitive but shines with its multiplayer modes. Most of its potential in recycled content, it's still a good option to play with friends and it's your first approach with this legendary character.

7 / 10.0 - High on Life
Dec 22, 2022

If you are looking for a game that will make you laugh, High On Life is the one. It's a bare bones FPS with acid humor, brilliant characters, and it's filled with absurd situations; it will make you feel inside an Adult Swim series. However, its limited exploration and rhythm, the game is better committed to making you laugh rather than shoot.

Star Ocean: Divine Force is a great role-playing game that arrives 15 years too late. It's a game that will keep you busy for hours, and a good effort to keep alive an lesser-known franchise.

Oct 8, 2022

In the process of renovation, Valkyrie Elysium changed genre and sacrificed its RPG essence to become an action RPG that takes us back to the golden age of hack and slash. Unfortunately, its simple story and limited exploration can make you lose interest in continuing to play until the end.

Contra: Operation Galuga stays true to its roots but makes changes to appeal to old and new players. The result is a good arcade experience that adapts to the player and appeals to nostalgia to convince classic game lovers. While it delivers on being fun and challenging, it fails in its presentation with soulless designs and a less-than-stellar technical side. It is ideal for fans of retro games but for action lovers there are better options to choose from.

The Hinokami Chronicles is a fighter arena with a poor character roster at the time of its release, and an unorganic story mode. You will be forced to finish it only to see the cutscenes and unlock the characters, instead of exploring battle systems. But not everything is disappointing, as the art direction is incredible, with special attacks taken directly from the anime, and the inclusion of the original music is greatly appreciated.

Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath story and presentation feels and loooks incredible. It's a real testament of how the narrative in a fighthing game can evolve. However, this time the content offered in this package feels lacking compared with its high price point. The new characters are worth it but more novelties and additional fighters are needed to justify the purchase. Of course, the free update for all players is appreciated.

Voice of Cards: The Forsaken Maiden combines a classic JRPG with a board game. This format works naturally, however, turns tedious by random battles and the way you traverse the board. Expect a Yoko Taro-style story that takes advantage of random elements to give it a special touch.

DontNot Entertainment presents a brotherhood story that, although entertaining, is rather simple. Tell My Why tackles Alyson and Taylor Ranon's journey in search of answers of their childhood filled with tears and tragedy. A recommended game to pass the time without complications on a boring afternoon but after finishing it, it will be forgotten.
