While the Musou genre remains divided outside its developer’s homeland, it still gives players an anticipated follow-up to one of the biggest sequels of a generation. While we all impatiently await Link and Zelda’s return in Breath of the Wild 2, Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is sure to leave Zelda fans salivating.
Cold War exudes a creative evolvement in its storytelling, more than its existing blueprint. The framework of its successful gameplay loop remains intact, and while some may criticise it – justly – you cannot deny that it works every time; if it's not broke, don’t fix it.
Melody of Memory attest to these facets with every symphony that adorns each world. I salivate over great racing title’s, Forza being one of my favourite franchises of all time, but the Ride series has proven that it has a place among the very best within it’s respected genre.
Star Wars: Squadrons is highly recommended for any and every Star Wars devotee, and also for the Virtual Reality enthusiast. It’s one hell of a ride.
