I’m really enjoying the experience so far. The graphics are beautiful, the gameplay is absolutely addicting, and it’s just a super fun game overall. I can’t believe it took me almost twenty years to discover it. There are so many ways to work on strategy, timing, and the incredibly satisfying puzzle-solving, and to top it all off are these cute little Pikmin creatures. I’m really looking forward to playing the other installments in the franchise.

The game did a great job of recreating the art style, the music, and the atmosphere, which creates a great amount of nostalgia, without elevating or enhancing the material at all. I enjoyed the experience of playing the game, and I think people who have never played this type of game would enjoy it as well.

The Coma 2: Vicious Sisters kept me on my toes. For a game whose genre I’m not particularly fond of at all, and yet provided me with an immersive and atmospheric experience that I genuinely enjoyed, I have to give it the utmost respect.

Tower of Time starts out strong but falls off pretty quickly. The gameplay and battle system are repetitive and not very interesting, and the art and sound are not consistent. A strong soundtrack is not enough to save the rest of the game. There are better games to pass the time with.

Perhaps the beautiful art and music will be enough for Summer in Mara to be a great game for you. The gameplay may become a tad bit monotonous, but it is satisfying to travel the tropical ocean from island to island on an adventure.
