5 / 10.0 - World's End Club
Jun 15, 2021

There's not much to say about World's End Club aside from that players need to know what they are getting themselves into. While I feel players are most likely to pick this up due to the directors' previous works, it's probably not what they are looking for. If you are someone who loves slice-of-life with a hint of mystery, then I would recommend World's End Club. But if you are expecting something in the style of Danganronpa and Zero Escape, then I'd say to skip it entirely. Unfortunately, I don't feel this game lives up to Kotaro Uchikoshi and Kazutaka Kodaka's previous works and might be quickly forgotten.

Root Double -Before Crime * After Days is not a bad game, there were many great story moments I had throughout the game and enjoyed while unraveling the mystery. The biggest problem it faces is it hastily changes the tone and storytelling is all over the place. It’s filled with unnecessary long story sequences instead of a straight-forward, suspenseful and thrilling story which is what on the surface Root Double -Before Crime * After Days makes out to be.

If you are looking for a game to play in short bursts on breaks or just to have a little bit of fun, definitely get One Finger Death Punch 2. For a game like this, I would suggest getting it on something mobile as I really think the game will shine more on there. It's more of a pickup and play game that's not meant to be taken seriously. If you like games that test your reflex skills, then this is also a game for you. With the game being so simple by nature, there's not too much more to be said. It's simple, but fun. Honestly, I can even say that I even had more fun with it than some other triple-A games on the market because its simple gameplay is just addicting. I had a lot of fun with this game and I think you will too.

9 / 10.0 - Serious Sam 4
Oct 8, 2020

There's really not much to review in a Serious Sam game other than, it's still Serious Sam. The gameplay is fantastic and the story is cheesy as always, it's what makes Serious Sam 4 a great run n' gun shooter. While some people may like or not like the story, you can always skip it. If you're looking to continue the series, looking for something different to play, or mindlessly shoot everything in your way, I'd definitely recommend Serious Sam 4.

Death end re;Quest 2 is an amazing experience that is not afraid to go against typical JRPG storytelling and themes. It’s a breath of fresh air to experience a story like Death end re;Quest 2. Even if you take out the gameplay elements, this game can definitely pass as only a visual novel. I had a blast experiencing the twisted world of Death end re;Quest 2 and if you are into these dark, morbid, and twisted stories looking to experience something new in a JRPG, then I heavily recommend Death end re;Quest 2

8 / 10.0 - Hellbound
Sep 5, 2020

I would recommend Hellbound to anyone looking for a 90’s inspired shooter or just a short fun first-person shooter to play. The smooth fast-paced gameplay combined with the awesome soundtrack makes up for the lack of variety. I’d say this game is definitely worth it.

There are not many VR games like this with this sort of detail and scale which makes The Wizards: Dark Times a unique one-of-a-kind experience.

If you are looking for a bite-sized mystery-thriller story puzzle game that makes you go “holy crap” and takes you on an emotional roller coaster, then I would extremely recommend this game.
