Rainbow Six Extraction has surprised us for good. It is not just another cooperative PvE shooter in which to face hordes of enemies, but it has a tactical touch that brings freshness, and a structure of missions, progress, learning and difficulty that makes it very easy to get hooked on its formula. And it also inherits directly from Siege what today remains one of the best gunplays on the scene, becoming an excellent gateway for those players who want to start in Siege in a more relaxed way, without getting directly into the competitive component.

Jurassic World Evolution 2 turns our classic dinosaur park into a huge dinosaur shelter. But a wilder, more detailed, demanding and, ultimately, more spectacular. Those who are fond of the license, will find a game that pampers every aspect related to dinosaurs and their enjoyment. Those who are fans of the genre, will find a more complete game and a more demanding point than its first installment, which if anything sinned was to be too soft for the most experts.

Hot Wheels: Unleashed is a simple yet demanding arcade. But without a doubt its greatest attraction is found in an incredible care for the toy brand, both for the cars and for its tracks, with a really complete editor.

Insurgency: Sandstorm is finally coming to Xbox. It is a fresh proposal for fans of multiplayer shooters with a realistic and tactical aspect. And the adaptation to console meets what was expected at a technical level, with good performance, which was what we were most concerned about.

Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War is once again a very complete tripartite experience. If you like its three aspects: campaign, multiplayer and zombies, you have content, which will also be expanded, for many months. If, on the other hand, what is calling you is any of them, all three offer a correct and compact experience by itself, being perhaps the zombie mode the most lame at the moment. All this without counting the Warzone mode, which will remain free as before.

The value of Red Dead Redemption 2 is fundamentally in the extraordinary integration that Rockstar has achieved between all its elements: the narrative, the playable and the technical. It is the best work of the company to date for the maturity achieved in each section, but also for the way in which all these come together to offer us an experience that never ceases to amaze us and that is perfectly integrated. Whether it be for the smallest things, like a citizen whose life we save on one occasion and he gives us a gift when we meet him in the city or the satisfaction when leaving the store dressed in a new suit for Arthur; to the most transcendent, such as an emotional and deep story or one of the most spectacular and solid technical sections that we have seen.

State of Decay 2 is a game with the ability to become exciting the more we play, and that is its greatest quality. Also, by the way, one that many other titles with a greater presence and budget than Undead Labs lack. It is true that it collects, perhaps too much, ideas, mechanics and situations from the first game, but it mixes them again in an original way and very successful almost always.

In this moment, it is difficult to rate Sea of Thieves with a higher valuation than it has, and instead I think it is the most important game so far this year, due to its values, playable proposal and what it represents. I am aware that this contrast can be difficult to understand, especially if the game has not yet been tested. For this reason, I simply encourage you to try what Sea of Thieves has in store for you before judging.

Veteran players are going to find the biggest and most spectacular Monster Hunter to date, with all that that entails: one challenge after another and one of the best cooperative modes we know of. The new ones, a game that is about hunting very big bugs in which the story does not have much weight (or none), but in return offers us a practically perfect learning and progress curve, an exciting cooperative and an RPG with a extremely polished combat system.

XCOM 2 was already a round work that posed a totally exciting challenge to demanding players, but War of the Chosen manages to improve it even more, and most importantly, surprise on several fronts those who had already played it. A must if you are a fan of strategy, and of course if you are a fan of the saga.

It has become one of those games interested in transmitting something else, instead of making us have an entertaining time without more. His way of facing nature is plausible (saving perhaps some other detail), such as making us go through an ordeal, whether we are beginners, the learning process, as if we are experts, for the possibility of modifying the difficulty, Because the long darkness, the real one, is what there is after each game, when it's all over. Luckily, we can face that moment again and again, try to do better, prolong it more.

As a whole Prey is a very big game. Difficult to catalog despite all its influences. Full of possibilities, with a sublime sci-fi atmosphere and, above all, with a lot of personality.

Possibly Towerfall Ascension is one of the best options if you want to get hold of a game that allows you to have a good time with lots of laughs and friends when they come home. Although precisely games of these there are already a few. Some of them have even been given away as Game with Gold and will probably go through your library. And also others like Videoball, which although it belongs to a different genre, is also great as competitive multiplayer, and has online options. In any case, if you play it alone, it's a good option that feels fresh, but it lacks some more substance in its individual mode.

It's extremely difficult to find an experience that at least comes close to what Bethesda offers us with Fallout 4.
