‘Denshattack!’ is so crazy that it could only be set in Japan: this train-based trick-shot racing game is a colourful, completely mad ride and is full of surprises.

Sword Art Online: Echoes of Aincrad tells an engaging story that lets you experience the events of Aincrad from your own perspective, with emotional character moments and surprisingly dark themes. While the combat remains enjoyable, repetitive enemies and a highly linear quest structure quickly become monotonous. Its beautiful environments create the illusion of an open world, but exploration is largely superficial, making the adventure feel more like a single-player MMO without the benefits of actual multiplayer.

Growing bizarre crops, raising spooky animals, and unlocking magical abilities through your wand keep the gameplay loop engaging, while the cute art style and surprisingly mature themes give the world extra personality. Slow dialogue, frequent cutscenes, and excessive loading screens hurt the pacing, but I still found myself constantly saying "just one more task" and playing for another hour—a great sign for any farming game.

In the first few minutes of the game, I'm not sure whether the "rubber-band" mechanics in *Crushed in Time* are an innovation or just a way to drag the story out. However, the developers show a lot of creativity and come up with exciting twists that keep me hooked from level to level. I'm actually really enjoying it.

In real life, I hate travelling by bus. Could ‘Bus Bound’ still be a suitable game for me? Surprisingly, yes! Despite its monotonous gameplay, ‘Bus Bound’ creates a loop I can hardly resist. Yet the reward system kept motivating me to drive to the next stop.

For everyone still here: Swing your clubs, try to ignore the endlessly repetitive dialogue, and have fun on the course even in bad weather. Games like this are most fun with friends anyway! Your chatter will drown out the annoying soundtrack anyway.

The selection of mini-games is significantly larger in "Mario Party" titles, and those looking for something more story-driven will find it in most other Switch games. "Tamagotchi Plaza" is definitely great for a quick mini-game, but don't expect long-term engagement!

For us as players, "Once Upon a Puppet" is a bit like the world within the game itself: a play full of adventure, heart, and quirky characters, somewhat predictable and with numerous loving details. It's one that takes place on a low-level stage—it can't (yet) make it onto the big AAA stages, but it will find many fans who will love this special style and explore every corner until they've uncovered every last secret. "Once Upon a Puppet" has many facets and, despite the rather slow pace of the production, is a play that's definitely worth seeing.

The "Atelier" series has changed quite a bit with Yumia. It's somehow more mature, more grown-up, and a whole lot darker. "Atelier" fans will recognize this from the older installments of the series.

The "Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection", on the other hand, includes many games that hardly anyone knows. This makes it a real gem in any video game collection - especially if you buy the game as a physical version.

The original has been given a major makeover, particularly in terms of the cutscenes and some of the world's detail. But it still feels somehow classic and nostalgic: "Tales of Graces f Remastered" manages to retain its charming flair and still be a must-play for JRPG fans in 2025.

Flint: Treasure of Oblivion combines strategy role-playing gameplay with pen and paper elements - and it works! However, as a player you have to teach yourself a lot, the fights lack oomph and some aspects of the game are unfortunately not intuitive.

Fairy Tail 2 is made for fans who can enjoy the well-implemented attacks. Visually appealing and exciting, especially thanks to the many effects and the story moves along quickly. However, it's still somehow just typical JRPG uniformity that would like to have more individuality.

Dungeons of Dreadrock 2 doesn't change too much in terms of overall gameplay or presentation, but for the sequel to a game that could only really be criticized for being a tad short, that's not a bad thing. We thoroughly enjoyed our second trip through those tricky dungeons with all its new challenges and can easily recommend it for anybody interested in the puzzle genre.
