Xenoblade Chronicles 3 delivers an epic journey with great characters, an amazing story and refined combats that make it the greatest of the series. You will lose dozens of hours exploring its humongous world and despite too many long loading screens in the second half of the game, it's definitely a Nintendo Switch must play.

LIVE A LIVE is a great adventure that still holds up 28 years later. With its 8 very different stories, the game delivers a wide variety of still very original gameplay. Despite offering 2 or 3 scenarios that aren't as interesting as the others, it makes up with a well-balanced rhythm of story and gameplay. In the end, it's relatively short compared to other Tactical RPGs which, in my opinion, make the genre more accessible to newcomers.

If you are a fan of Danganronpa, the Zero Escape series or any narrative thriller, AI: THE SOMNIUM FILES – nirvanA Initiative is for you. If the first one left me a bit confused, the second game is better structured, captivating and very well written. Furthermore, you don't really need to play the previous game to jump into this one so enjoy and discover the many paths that will lead you to the conclusion of this amazing sci-fi story.

Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes has proven to be my favorite game of the genre so far. I think the developers have capitalized well on the strengths of Musou while adding the best elements of the latest Fire Emblem. This is once again a long-term game that will offer dozens of hours of gameplay for fans of the genre. For newcomers, it can also be a great starter as it offers a lot of flexibility for difficulty levels and it explains very well each new element that they add along the way. In short, it is easy to recommend.

Mario Strikers: Battle League should easily meet the expectations of those who have been waiting for a sequel for a long time. The game is more fun than ever thanks to a more dynamic and perfectly fluid gameplay. It also takes a lot of practice to master it perfectly and the challenge is there even for veteran players. In short, Nintendo is starting the summer on the right track with this new Mario Strikers.

Nintendo Switch Sports is a good update to Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resorts even if it misses some sports like golf. This is a game that puts the technology of the Joy-Con to the front, which Nintendo hasn't necessarily done enough for my taste since the release of the Switch. However, I doubt that people will spend as much time with it as they did on the Wii given the cost of entry and the lack of content. On the other hand, if you are looking for a fun experience that will get the whole house moving, this is definitely a very good option.

Ghostwire: Tokyo is a good game, but it will be difficult to break through considering the quality of the games that have appeared since the beginning of the year. It certainly has a certain charm in its narrative framework and its fairly original fights, but a few ideas that do not succeed and a redundancy of mechanics prevent it from going from good to excellent.

HAL Laboratory studio has taken up the challenge of giving our favorite series a more modern look. I love that the devs dared with more wacky and over the top Kirby transformations than ever before and powers that are pushed to the maximum with their evolutions. The younger ones should find it a rather fun and accessible game, while the slightly older ones will have fun with the more advanced challenges. Kirby and the Forgotten Land isn't perfect, but it lays the groundwork to a futur of Kirby that I can get behind.

If you can get past the long dialogues, you'll find one of the most narratively interesting SRPGs on the market. As the player, you have real power to influence the course and outcome of the adventure that awaits you. All this is accompanied by very fun strategic combat that is varied and will allow you to develop your favorite characters. In short, Triangle Strategy offers an excellent story, very good gameplay and a super charming look. What more could you ask for?

Pokémon Legends: Arceus is an excellent adventure that proves it can pay off to do things differently. The recipe has been reworked on several levels and all these changes enhance the player’s experience. In short, if the last titles bored you a little by their redundancy, this new title should definitely reignite your flame.

It feels good to find Master Chief in an episode that lives up to expectations with a deeper story and a universe bigger than ever. Above all, as a shooter, Halo Infinite is expertly executed and pushes the boundaries of the series in the right direction. In my opinion, the game has a lot to offer fans of the series and hopefully it will open new door to spawn a whole new generation of Halo fans.

100 minigames and the five tables would have made a perfect addition to Super Mario Party as a DLC. Unfortunately, when you consider Mario Party Superstars on its own, it strikes me as too thin in content. Despite the excellent compilation of minigames, the rest doesn’t reach the Superstar status. In short, while I appreciate its nostalgic aspect, I would choose Super Mario Party before Mario Party Superstars.

The interpretation done by Eidos Montreal of Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy came as a really nice surprise to me. I devoured every moment thanks to its endearing characters, the depth of the script and a good level of humour that put a constant smile on my face. Eidos proves once again that there is room for high budget linear games that are played solo. I had my fears like everyone else, but I came out very satisfied and can't wait to go back and redo some of my choices.

Metroid Dread dives us in a long awaited sequel which does not dissapoint. I really enjoyed the pace of the action which connects bosses quickly with a good level of difficulty. Despite the many Metroidvania that have been released in recent years, the original series is still kind in 2021. Nintendo is taking the series in the right direction and I can't wait to dive into Metroid Prime 4.

With its unique characters and gameplay, Rainbow Billy: The Curse of the Leviathan opens the door to more inclusive and less violent games. We quickly get attached to Billy, Rodrigo and the characters who accompany us. The story gives us a great lesson of life even though its relatively shorts which makes it a worthwhile indie.

TOEM is a very fun photographic adventure that stands out for its unique approach. I would have to go as far back as Flight Simulator to find an experience as peaceful and relaxing as this. Plus, with its charming entirely hand-drawn look, it should definitely land on your console.

No More Heroes 3 is an honest sequel that honors its creator's craziness and is a lot of fun at times. Unfortunately, half-hearted writing and too frequent and long loading times undermine the experience.

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD offers some much needed enhancements that result in a better game. Whether it's your first or second time exploring Skyloft, you will definitely find some charm in revisiting the story where everything started.

Mario Golf: Super Rush introduces fun new ways to play golf including Speed Golf and Battle Mode. Camelot really has reached his peak in terms of technique and quality of gameplay. It's particularly fun to play with the Joy-Con motions which has been improved over Wii Sports. It's just too bad the solo adventure doesn't pack much of a punch and that there's no tournament mode this time. I hope Camelot will spend a bit more time putting the finishing touches the next time around.

Once again, Nintendo shows they have the magic touch with a unique experience that is very outside the box thinking. With the help of seven very complete interactive lessons, learn the basics of being a programmer with a simplified approach that eases us into the complexity behind making video games.
