However, somewhat repetitive combats with same monsters and overall volume of the game, vague main stories are the ones that could have been better.

Is it because of the pressure of showing a better story than the previous work? They ended up with the story line that doesn't even add up and destroyed the plausibility between the characters, rather became a poor story compared to last one. However, high-quality shooting action and photo-realistic graphics that you expect from the series is still there, giving a genuine joy of FPS itself.

Although there is not much difference between Supermassive's previous games systemwise, Quarry shows an interesting storytelling based on classical teenage horror film.
