A game that breaks the stereotype of having to perfect city construction. With a high-quality blend of simulation and roguelite elements, it feels like enjoying a single-player game campaign. Constructing cities in various ways each time and achieving goals provide a sense of accomplishment.

Oct 20, 2023

If you want to enjoy the strategic aspects of tower-defense and the exhilaration of top-down shooter at the same time, Endless Dungeon would be the ultimate choice. However, it's also possible to be disappointed by some aspects that make you feel the depth of entire gameplay a bit shallow.

8 / 10.0 - Sea of Stars
Sep 8, 2023

The game reinterprets classic JRPGs in a modern way. Instead of trying something entirely new, it brings together some of the great systems of classic games that were previously well-received. While combining different systems into one game is undoubtedly impressive, it falls short of delivering something more innovative and enjoyable, which is a bit disappointing.

9.8 / 10.0 - Baldur's Gate 3
Aug 11, 2023

It's basically a game that recalls the real joy of RPG that people forgot. In Baldur's Gate3, you can do pretty much everything as much as however you like. At the end of the game, the only thing left there was simply a gratitude to Larian Studios for making this exceptional journey.

7.5 / 10.0 - Kingdom Eighties
Jun 30, 2023

The latest title in the Kingdom series, reconstructed in the retro vibe of the 80s. Visuals and musics resemble the scene from the 'Stranger Things' are quite attractive. Though it is a bit regrettable that the overall system is similar to the previous game, and the amount of content is a bit too short except for the addition of fellow NPCs.

7.5 / 10.0 - Amnesia: The Bunker
Jun 19, 2023

Amnesia: The Bunker focuses on horror element while it relieves the burden of storytelling side. The overall ambiance of staying together in the bunker with mysterious monsters in the dark is well suited. In particular, the creepy sound effects such as monsters' howling and echoes in the cave did a great job holding the tension throughout the game.

The official sequel to Darkest Dungeon seemd chose to abandon the management system and offer more rogue-lite fun instead based on the theme of carriage travel. While the concept proved itself with much deeper combat mechanic, but it barely feels like a fresh gameplay.

6.5 / 10.0 - Redfall
May 8, 2023

A title that feels incomplete in every perspective. At least the Vampire hunting was a good experience, but only the boredom and stupid AI are the ones that fill the hollow open-world. On top of that, a lot of bugs and insufficient optimizations are making the experience even worse.

7.2 / 10.0 - Minecraft Legends
Apr 22, 2023

The Minecraft franchise continues to expand its world, offering a unique blend of action and strategy gameplay. While efforts have been made to make the genre more accessible, the repetitive and simplistic level designs can cause players to lose interest pretty quickly.

The finale of the Atelier Ryza Series. With the rejoin of the original scenario writer, both story and the system side of the game have been positively improved. In particular, the Seamless Field gives you a great taste of exploration, while the real-time turn-based action combat adds excitement to the progress.

It turns out, light was not the only thing that has fallen in this new expansion. With disappointing story, the campaigns even feel like they were created for the fun of developers, rather than players. While these letdowns still interfere with overall immersion of the game, at least the new ability and revamped system are holding the expansion precariously.

7.2 / 10.0 - Scars Above
Feb 28, 2023

A game suitable for those who loves Sci-Fi creatures. It delivers the concept of facing various life forms during an adventure throughout an unknown planet quite well. A shooting action which requires puzzle-solving brain work is also quite interesting. However, you need to endure the unnatural modeling, stiff animation and unreasonable level designs before all these charms.

A game structured by collecting the major features of popular genres such as TRPG and deck buildings. While each stage is a little bit too long and the deck building feature has a room for development, the game offers a unique experience that is differentiated in similar genres.

AAA-class SF horror game that appeared after a long time. The lingering story created among people who have turned into bizarre monsters is the attractive element of the game. The battle balance and level design are somewhat disappointing, but it is still a fun enough game.

7.7 / 10.0 - Evil West
Nov 25, 2022

A game that shows efforts to lower the entry barrier of action games. Thanks to the friendly aim assistance, the game enables you to perform great action without difficulty. However, somewhat repetitive combats with same monsters and overall volume of the game, vague main stories are the ones that could have been better.

Is it because of the pressure of showing a better story than the previous work? They ended up with the story line that doesn't even add up and destroyed the plausibility between the characters, rather became a poor story compared to last one. However, high-quality shooting action and photo-realistic graphics that you expect from the series is still there, giving a genuine joy of FPS itself.

7.6 / 10.0 - Soulstice
Sep 30, 2022

Though it may seem like an homage to the famous japanese title, Soulstice is an action game with its own interpretation of the genre and gives a different type of joy. Its splendid visual and crisp action control enhance the overall experience. However, dizzy and limited point of views with repetitive backgrounds are the ones that hinder the immersion.
