6.5 / 10.0 - Chocobo GP
Mar 23, 2022

Chocobo GP is far from perfect, but it is addictive and has good ideas when you have your hands on the wheel. The game does manage to bring fun and originality in some ways and is definitely better than the vast majority of kart racers available, but it can't match Nintendo's traditional kart franchise.

Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection is a perfect business card for newcomers in the series and respects each of its classic games. The Switch port is well done, with little changes compared to the original experience, but shows once again that the Florentine assasin's story is a legend that can still be told for many years to come.

Super Onion Boy 2 is an extremely simple and fun game that is capable of putting good smiles on its short playing time, despite being lacking in terms of originality. The game won't hold you for long and there's certainly not much to do other than complete all the stages with the maximum possible score, but the journey to the end is a light experience and capable of becoming an adventure with good layers fun.

7 / 10.0 - Barry the Bunny
Dec 9, 2021

There's nothing wrong with the gameplay, or with the title itself, as long as you understand that it's just another simple, basic and typical Ratalaika Games indie "game" to spend a few hours with younger brothers, cousins or whoever can enjoy a little colorful adventure in the land of bunnies.

Even though it's not a game that appeals to all audiences, Blue Reflection: Second Light will appeal to JRPG fans with a focus on narrative and emotional relationships, attributes that are crowned here by a beautiful artistic-visual presentation and a pulsating combat mechanic. Among the wide range of options from the Atelier franchise already available on Switch, it's worth checking out a game less dedicated to collecting and manufacturing items and objects and devoting itself to a story with mysteries, twists, feelings and, above all, girls.

WarioWare: Get It Together! is, without a doubt, one of the best multiplayer titles on Nintendo Switch, with lots of unlockable content and interesting ways to play it. The gameplay decisions, although controversial, manage to deliver extremely simple and fun solutions, further expanding the franchise's audience demographic. For many staunch fans, the game isn't what they expected, but it still manages to deliver a solid WarioWare experience, fun-loving and capable of guaranteeing long nights of laughter, conflict and chaos — for those willing to do so.

7 / 10.0 - Ultra Age
Sep 13, 2021

Ultra Age certainly offers a unique experience, making it a great addition to the action genre. The elaborate look and the frantic combat are its biggest highlights. Even so, the impression is that the game is not fully exploiting its potential, which can be corrected in a possible sequel.

Dragon Star Varnir tells a good story of witches and knights, with great emphasis on character development. Keeping track of everything is quite satisfying, even on skits loaded with hours and hours of text. On the other hand, the possibility of different endings and the interesting combat system justify the re-launch of the game, deserving more attention than it had before. Far beyond just a game about eating dragons, Zephy's adventure certainly offers a good story, in which its flaws, that are notorious, don't diminish Dragon Star Varnir's place in the Switch's JRPG library.

Songs for a Hero is much more than a simple musical game, showing itself as a robust international reference as a platformer and bringing the best of the genre with a Brazilian touch. Drinking from the same sources of sagas as Zelda, Donkey Kong Country and Shantae, the game entertains all the time, progresses naturally and consolidates itself as another excellent indie title in the Nintendo Switch library.

Mario Golf: Super Rush isn't the best title in the franchise, let alone the best Mario sports game in Switch's library. For those who mainly expected just a fun game from the mustachioed universe, the plethora of specific terms, techniques and clubs is, at first, frightening. It really takes a lot of dedication and a willingness to engage more deeply to really master the controls and techniques. The new Speed Golf and Battle Golf modes, however, are great additions to the franchise, which really needs new ideas to stay relevant. In short, Camelot offers a competent party game, but it doesn't shine very bright at any time, with negative emphasis on Adventure Mode, a huge disappointment for its mediocre difficulty and soulless setting.
