Mullet MadJack is a title that's quite easy to recommend for fans of shooting games. Its fast-paced gameplay is engaging and addictive, and the OVA anime aesthetic — complete with high-quality Brazilian dubbing — makes it a true trip down memory lane for those nostalgic for the 1980s and 1990s. So, if there was any doubt, it no longer exists: saving the influential princess by controlling Jack and his unmistakable mullet is a must-play on the Nintendo Switch as well.

Pragmata is video games at their best. Even though it's a relatively short experience, it delivers excitement, unique gameplay, and a universe with great potential for expansion. It can function as a self-contained work, but it also opens the way for sequels or even a new major science fiction franchise.

Ultimately, Ys Memoire: Revelations Celceta is a solid and engaging experience that shines primarily in its fast-paced and well-structured combat. Even with minor narrative inconsistencies, the game perfectly captures the adventurous spirit of the series, making it an excellent way to revisit, or discover, this classic journey.

Pokémon Champions proved to be an extremely fun game, with a system for testing new builds that quickly becomes addictive. For competitive veterans, this title is indispensable, even with the reduced number of items and Pokémon; those who follow the community know that the Scarlet & Violet scene was already saturated. For newcomers who have always been curious about entering the world of battles but found the process too difficult, this is the perfect game. It offers the ideal tools to learn the fundamental concepts and take the first steps on this journey to becoming a Pokémon master.

MotionRec makes excellent use of platforming and action elements in its puzzles, which have a learning curve that is, for the most part, well-designed and enriching for the player's experience with each discovery. The game is relatively short, but in this case, that seems ideal, as it manages to provide that brain stimulation with each solution without overdoing the quantity in order to maintain quality.

Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream is a pleasant and much-anticipated surprise for a gentle series that had been dormant. Its small additions to improve gameplay, such as more identity options and enhanced environments, are very welcome and make all the difference in appreciating the little things in virtual life.

Having become a fan of the series relatively recently, I can say that Legacy of Kain: Ascendance disappointed me. I admit it's bold in expanding the franchise's horizons into new genres and further exploring its universe. The soundtrack is very good, imposing and captivating, the voice acting is respectful, and it's good to see Raziel again. However, the game lacks the strength to attract new players based solely on its name and may alienate fans with its poorly developed story, amateurish gameplay, and, frankly, the emptiness of its existence. It's effectively a useless title for the series, and only the most bloodthirsty fans might be interested.

Marvel MaXimum Collection is a decent example of preservation. The collection contains an interesting selection of games and alternative versions, with welcome life enhancements and a well-constructed gallery. However, it doesn't encapsulate much of Marvel's humble past in gaming and doesn't offer strong reasons to buy beyond X-Men, the Carnage duology, and, if you're a masochist, Silver Surfer. It's a competent collection, but it could offer a little more to pay tribute to its origins.

Super Meat Boy 3D is the return of the king of pain. A worthy sequel to this indie icon. Minor stumbles in its presentation don't tarnish the franchise's reputation, especially with precise controls, the same charisma as always, and the progressive increase in difficulty, making this a great addition to the current platforming game scene.

Darwin's Paradox! is a great game and I highly recommend playing it. If you're one of those players who are a little tired of very long titles or those with convoluted mechanics and stories, this game is for you! Furthermore, because it's a light and quick experience to finish, it provides that good feeling of finally completing another item on your list.

Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection retains the original charm of the series. The story remains engaging, the characters are captivating, and the concept of a world connected by waves is still creative and unique within the Mega Man franchise. With some more careful adjustments, this could be a practically definitive collection, but as it is, it's a good experience, albeit with important reservations.

Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage is the definitive debut of the series on Nintendo and a good entry point for new fighters. Its precise controls, beautiful graphics, and flawless gameplay are excellent attractions for those looking to expand their horizons on fighting games and even pay respect to one of the most important franchises in gaming. However, glaring errors in respecting its legacy, the absence of single-player modes, many of the real highlights being relegated to DLC, and the complete lack of story may disappoint those fighters who expect a greater understanding of this iconic series. It doesn't need to train for another ten years, but a little more finesse to adapt to modern times could truly revive Virtua Fighter.

South of Midnight is a title well worth experiencing — especially for those who value good stories, memorable atmospheres, and experiences that go beyond just playing with a controller. It's the kind of game that may not be perfect in its execution, but it's extremely competent at leaving a lasting impression.

Back to the Dawn is a great surprise for the Switch, having initially been released for PC in late 2025 and already gaining a strong fan base. Its intriguing story, charismatic and subversive characters, and complex yet interesting realistic mechanics create a unique and genuine personality for this prison odyssey. Foxes were usually seen as clever but petty, thieving, and mischievous animals. With representatives like Thomas, however, perhaps the reputation of these crimson friends can be rehabilitated, just as the truth about urban corruption may come to light.

Kena: Bridge of Spirits is a game that captivates at first glance, with its impeccable art direction and a sensitive narrative that delicately addresses profound themes. The simplicity of its structure works very well throughout the journey, especially in exploration and the emotional development of the characters. On the other hand, the game stumbles precisely where it could shine the most: in moments of greatest intensity. The boss battles, while challenging, often go beyond what is fair and end up generating unnecessary frustration, breaking the rhythm of the experience. Still, Kena delivers a remarkable adventure that balances beauty and emotion with accessible mechanics — even if not always refined. In the end, it's a journey worth experiencing, especially for those seeking a touching experience, even with some thorns along the way.

Super Mario Bros. Wonder – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Let's Go to Belabel Park functions as a competent update, bringing improvements and content that expand upon what already existed, but without significantly changing the overall experience. The new activities and additional modes offer fun moments, especially in multiplayer, but often stumble on simplicity or the reuse of previously seen ideas. The technical improvements and accessibility features are welcome, albeit basic, and help to make the package more complete. In the end, it's a pleasant and functional version, but one that is hardly essential for those who have already explored the original adventure, serving more as a complement than as an evolution.

Blue Prince is a unique experience that deserves to be experienced by every fan of puzzles and mysteries. Its recent arrival on the Switch 2 in a highly competent port is, above all, a reminder that video games can (and should) go beyond the basics, delivering true interactive works of art in the process. In the end, Dogubomb's work teaches a powerful message that deserves to be quoted: "Don't settle for following already trodden paths. Abandon a path when necessary, and go where you would like it to take you." You probably won't regret it.

Planet of Lana II: Children of the Leaf does an excellent job of expanding its universe through a charming narrative that leaves you wanting more adventures. Sometimes the story focuses too much on the protagonist duo, making other characters irrelevant very quickly, but there are still twists and discoveries that make the journey worthwhile. The puzzles are much more interesting and manage to be more complex without being too long or demanding. They integrate better with the environment, both visually and mechanically, improving the experience of exploring a planet that neither the player nor the protagonist yet fully knows.

Minishoot Adventures is further proof that different influences and styles can be combined to deliver a cohesive, coherent, and fun game. Although imperfect in a few (very few) points, there's no denying that this little adventure is captivating and was perfectly adapted to the Nintendo console. In short, for those who enjoy shoot 'em ups and metroidvanias, the first Indie World of 2026 delivered a true gem.

Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun is a good tactical game. The concept is very well executed, especially regarding the combination of character abilities and the strategic freedom offered in missions. However, the camera issues significantly hinder the experience and weigh negatively. The DLC, on the other hand, doesn't bring major changes compared to the main game. It delves deeper into the story of one of the central characters, which is interesting, but may leave a feeling of lacking new elements. Even so, the game's central idea is very well implemented and works as a great entry point for those who have never played a tactical RTS title, offering a consistent and rewarding strategic challenge.
