BlazBlue Entropy Effect X focuses on style over formula, with intense abilities and a good selection of avatars, which may not be enough to please roguelite fans and could make the experience repetitive very quickly due to its simple progression system and lack of variety in scenarios and enemies. Still, the game faithfully translates the combat experience of Arc System Works games into a new genre. It's a shame that the Switch version doesn't deliver the best experience, especially in essential parts of the narrative where cutscenes disappear or hinder you during combat. However, these are aspects that can still be improved.

Super Bomberman Collection is almost the definitive compilation of the character. Undoubtedly, most of the best games in the series are present, and the visual adaptations and inclusion of modern features, such as saving and rewinding, make everything even more accessible and fun. However, these are still short and relatively simple games from a franchise that may not be as popular or appealing to those unfamiliar with the character back in the day. Each title should take between one or two hours to complete, but we're talking about a possible 5 to 10 hours of gameplay to beat everything, not counting the NES titles, the Boss Rush mode, and the multiplayer, which remains as fun as ever.

The tenth chapter of the Ys saga was already a good game, but Ys X: Proud Nordics manages to make it even better. Although the lack of an upgrade between the Switch and Switch 2 versions is annoying, there's no denying that this is now the definitive version of the competent action RPG, which finally finds a version worthy of its experience on Nintendo's new console.

No one can accuse Tokyo Scramble of being generic or unoriginal. It brings together good ideas and interesting concepts that, if better developed, could result in something truly remarkable. However, in the end, it feels like a melting pot of ideas and mechanics lost in a feverish teenage dream about relationships and subterranean monsters. It's a game with fun mechanics, competent stealth, and a chaotic and fun multiplayer, but it suffers from trying to aim at too many things at once. However, the studio probably knows the scope and the strengths and weaknesses very well, and perhaps that's what's reflected in the lower and more accessible price compared to most titles on the console.

Lil Gator Game: In The Dark is the definitive and well-crafted ending to a charming, unpretentious adventure, naturally expanding on the themes of its predecessor and fitting perfectly as an epilogue to our little friend's growth. Unique new items, friends with fun tasks, beautiful biomes to explore, and the inherent challenge of getting things done as quickly as possible make this a nostalgic adventure through childhood memories and the freedom of being a child with the inevitability of growing up.

Mario Tennis Fever brings the most fun game modes in the franchise to date, introduces mechanics that provide countless different combinations and strategies with the Euphoric Rackets, and features the most varied cast of characters in the entire series. Fun is guaranteed with the mustachioed plumber and his friends on the most chaotic courts ever seen in the Mushroom Kingdom.

Even with its weaker combat compared to its predecessors, the fights remain incredible to watch. Despite the questionable character model changes and the inclusion of a non-grata voice actor in the cast, its story is even more engaging, its characters remain amazing, the exploration is even more immersive, and above all, Yakuza maintains its strong and admirable spirit.

Lil Gator Game's inspirations are obvious, but that doesn't detract from the originality of its presentation. A product made with love and fun, innocent yet reflective, it evokes childhood memories while showcasing the imminent flow of time.

Escape from Ever After is a charismatic and accessible RPG that perfectly understands what made the genre's classics so special. By blending clever corporate satire with nostalgic gameplay and impressive technical performance, the game becomes an essential item for anyone seeking a cozy and personality-filled adventure on the Nintendo Switch.

Thanks to a series of improvements and a spectacular visual presentation, DRAGON QUEST VII Reimagined elevates the classic RPG to practical perfection, easily recommendable both for those who have already played the PlayStation and 3DS versions and for those embarking on this fun and engaging adventure for the first time, aiming to discover what lies beyond Estard. The truth is that very few remakes are conducted with as much care and respect for the original work as this one, and the result of this commitment speaks for itself.

Even though Dispatch isn't a groundbreaking shift in the style of narrative games, it undoubtedly enters the hall of fame of worthwhile experiences in this genre. The animation and acting quality is excellent, the heroes are charismatic, and the development of Team-Z throughout the campaign gives you the feeling of having truly been part of these characters' evolution.

Cult of the Lamb: Woolhaven delivers new content for those who have already completed the base game, introduces several new mechanics, and brings back familiar faces in the Lamb's new journey. On the other hand, some technical and performance issues, as well as gameplay that becomes a bit repetitive over time, may deter those looking for something completely new. At the end of the day, the DLC is a must-have expansion for those who enjoyed building their own cult and exploring the enemy-filled rooms in Cult of the Lamb, offering new challenges and an extra layer of strategy that, while not reinventing the formula, manages to keep it interesting enough to justify a return to the cult.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition is the definitive version of Skyrim. It's undeniable that it's highly recommended for any fan of dragons, sandbox games, and adventure. Even with some glaring flaws, it's an unmissable odyssey that became even more glorious on the Switch 2.

Ultimately, it's true that support for Brazilian Portuguese and 60 frames per second is lacking, but it's also undeniable that this is the best version of the best title in a franchise that exudes charm, charisma, and fun in doses that other series only dream of achieving. So, whether you're returning to your island or deciding to travel to one for the first time, make no mistake: Animal Crossing: New Horizons – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition is an indispensable game in the library of any gamer who wants to explore new, calm, and unforgettable horizons.

Dynasty Warriors: Origins solidifies itself as a major success for the franchise. The campaign is extensive and supported by multiple progression systems, as well as a variety of weapons that encourage the player to experiment with different combat styles. Although it presents a long and, at times, repetitive structure, the game builds an efficient and engaging loop. The absence of multiple playable characters may alienate some of the franchise's traditional audience, but the more focused and accessible approach has the potential to attract players who previously stayed away from the musou genre.

Final Fantasy VII REMAKE Intergrade proves that the Nintendo Switch 2 is indeed capable of hosting large-scale productions without significantly compromising the experience. The recreation of Midgar is immersive, the combat system is one of the most refined in the franchise, and the expanded narrative gives new weight to already known characters and events. Even with minor technical slips and occasional limitations, especially in portable mode, the package delivered is robust, competent, and respects the grandeur of the original work.

Fairy Tail: Dungeons is a very fun game capable of captivating the player for hours. It's not excessively difficult, but it's not too easy either, presenting a good balance of challenge. For fans of the series, the game is a real treat, full of references and beloved characters. However, those unfamiliar with the Fairy Tail universe may feel a little lost, as the title doesn't delve too deeply into the presentation of its world or its characters.

Big Hops is a fun game that tells an unusual story with charismatic characters, features an excellent variety of exploration moves, showcases diverse and vast environments, and contains numerous collectible items. However, the many and frequent technical glitches hinder the title's potential to be even more addictive and rewarding. Ultimately, therefore, we are faced with a very complete and charming 3D platformer, but one that deserves more care and fixes to become a great success.

Milano's Odd Job Collection is a charming, forgotten fifth-generation adventure, with little ambition but plenty of charm. A few silly mistakes don't detract from its personality and charm, bringing back nostalgic feelings from a distant era, yet with games whose premises are so similar. Many re-releases are necessary for the preservation and introduction of old IPs to new generations, and I believe this was a great success for HilltopWorks, known for translating other previously exclusive gems to the global market.

Dragon Ruins II is a small game, clearly made with a limited budget and a different scope than traditional dungeon crawlers. Therefore, it would be unfair to judge it by the same standard. Within its premise of being a "dungeon crawler for tired people," it performs very well. For those who want to rest their minds with a bit of grinding and dungeon exploration, the game is a great choice. On the other hand, with its autobattler mechanics, it won't appeal to everyone and certainly isn't a game I would choose for my "main" gaming time, when I want something that demands a greater investment of time and attention.
