Keeping the good things from the base game, it's an easy recommendation for those who already explored it looking to experience a little more of this work.

Mado Monogatari: Fia and the Wondrous Academy is an RPG that tries to make a curious mix in its combat, but it ends up being only frustrating and lackluster. With an uninteresting base, the experience doesn't appeal and is a bad way to bring back Compile's classic franchise to a new generation.

No Sleep For Kaname Date - From AI: THE SOMNIUM FILES is a new adventure that ends up being simpler and more predictable than its predecessors. Without the same weight to the story and the gameplay, the end result is lukewarm and not as compelling, though it still has a solid enough base not to be a complete waste.

Though the Picross S line offers more variety, the package here is very elegant and manages to use its details to elevate the experience beyond the basics.

For those looking for a dive the Tate no Yuusha universe, PICROSS Records of The Shield Hero isn't an ideal entry point. Projected Dreams is a curious puzzle of light and shadows and it's possible to notice the team's effort in making it so each chapter brought a new gimmick to add variety to the challenges. However, the way the game handles physics and how it limits object control is frustrating and there are many issues that make it not a highlight within the genre.

Picross S NAMCO Legendary Edition is yet another good logic puzzle pack from Jupiter, now using the core theme of classic NAMCO games. We get all the quality we've come to expect from the Picross S line and it's very worth it to to clear the puzzles, though there's this feeling that it could be a little more creative in valuing the legacy of the classics here and how to present them to the players.
