Overall, Picross S: Records of the Shield Hero is a solid Picross title that looks as polished as can be. The theming is fantastic and on point, and while more could have been done in terms of soundtrack or video clips, the title provides a solid few hours of entertainment that shouldn't be missed.

For those looking for a dive the Tate no Yuusha universe, PICROSS Records of The Shield Hero isn't an ideal entry point. However, this work holds the quality we've come to expect from the Picross line on Switch and it's a good pick for those who love puzzles and want to see the game with Aneko Yusagi's multimedia series as a theme.
