In its complete release, The Rogue Prince of Persia didn't manage to break free from the main issue it had in its early access: the little variety and repetitiveness. However, even so, this is a fluid action game, which is extremely satisfying to explore and an easy recommendation for this reason.

4.5 / 5.0 - Shuten Order
Aug 29, 2025

Shuten Order is a fantastic text adventure that truly sets itself apart from the crowd with its brilliant use of multiple routes to create the complete story. Other than some technical issues that hold the game back, it’s an impressive feat that shows how the Too Kyo team knows very well how to tell compelling stories.

Shantae Advance: Risky Revolution is a good action platformer that manages to present a world filled with charm and worth exploring. Though a few details may be inconvenient for those already used to modern games in the genre, the experience balances out the effort.

Is This Seat Taken? is an interesting and competent logic puzzle that revolves around trying to respect the wishes of every individual that shares the same collective space. Though the game still feels like it doesn't live up to the potential to do something even more interesting with its concept, the result is satisfactory for those looking for a casual, non-committal puzzle.

8.5 / 10.0 - KANADE
Aug 14, 2025

KANADE is a visual novel that manages to reach its goal masterfully. It's a simple romance work, but it explores the concept of first love with honesty in a curious setting that could be considered post-apocalyptic.

Chained Echoes: Ashes of Elrant is an interesting way to further explore the game's universe, learning more about the characters and what happened to Elrant. Keeping the good things from the base game, it's an easy recommendation for those who already explored it looking to experience a little more of this work.

9 / 10.0 - Gradius Origins
Aug 6, 2025

GRADIUS ORIGINS is an essential pack of the shoot'em up history with high quality games and rich quality of life tools. Despite a few issues that should have been avoided, it's the kind of collection that's essential to keep such a valuable videogame history legacy alive.

Front Mission 3: Remake doesn't do a good job in updating the classic game, but its base is still compelling. For fans of RPGs, tactical games and mecha, it's worth getting to know the game, whether in its original version or the remake.

Mado Monogatari: Fia and the Wondrous Academy is an RPG that tries to make a curious mix in its combat, but it ends up being only frustrating and lackluster. With an uninteresting base, the experience doesn't appeal and is a bad way to bring back Compile's classic franchise to a new generation.

No Sleep For Kaname Date - From AI: THE SOMNIUM FILES is a new adventure that ends up being simpler and more predictable than its predecessors. Without the same weight to the story and the gameplay, the end result is lukewarm and not as compelling, though it still has a solid enough base not to be a complete waste.

System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster is an excellent opportunity to get to know a classic. Though it demands more dedication than more modern titles thanks to some mechanics, the experience as a whole is high quality and the remaster does a good job at keeping it undeniably faithful.

Juufuutei Raden's Guide for Pixel Museum adjusts the classic nonogram presentation as a museum exhibition, exploring cultural aspects from the West and Japan alike besides presenting some of the VTuber's personal tastes. Though the Picross S line offers more variety, the package here is very elegant and manages to use its details to elevate the experience beyond the basics.

For those looking for a dive the Tate no Yuusha universe, PICROSS Records of The Shield Hero isn't an ideal entry point. However, this work holds the quality we've come to expect from the Picross line on Switch and it's a good pick for those who love puzzles and want to see the game with Aneko Yusagi's multimedia series as a theme.
