Rogue City is not only the best RoboCop game ever made, but also one of the best (titanium-grade) movie adaptations ever made.

LIMBO and INSIDE creator Jeppe Carlsen has done it again. With its unique world, successful puzzles and visuals reminiscent of Giger's style, COCOON manages to be one of the best indies of this year. The puzzles could have been a bit more challenging, though.

System Shock is back after 30 years with a faithful remake. And thanks to its new graphics and modernized mechanics, it looks better than ever and plays more enjoyable than ever. It would have been great if they overhauled the combat system and brought it closer to today's standards.

It's a delightful mix. It's really fun to fish peacefully during the day and try to escape the monsters at night to reach the nearest harbor. Unfortunately, the sense of tension wears off quickly and once you figure out the monsters, you can easily escape them all. Still, it's fun to try to catch all the fish species, solve the mystery of the islands and reach different endings.

Figment 2 is a step forward and a step back at the same time. It improves in some areas and falls behind the previous game in others. Still it manages to give you an enjoyable 5 hours with great visuals, songs and a story that tells you what is important in this life.

While it retains the intriguing plot and robust space atmosphere of the first game, the lack of puzzle variety, poor face modeling, and monotonous gameplay that quickly becomes repetitive make Deliver Us Mars a weak game. Despite the additions, it feels more like a step back than a sequel.

Pharaoh: New Era manages to preserve the essence of the game we loved years ago, but it is also notable for its shortcomings such as mini-map and army management. If the studio manages to address these shortcomings as promised, it can be a much better game. Still, that doesn't change the fact that at its core it's one of the best city-building simulations ever made.

Return to Monkey Island is a game worthy of the Monkey Island name. Not only has it retained the spirit of the series, it also has cleverly paid homage to previous titles and incorporated them into the canon. We can't thank Ron Gilbert, Dave Grossman and all of their teammates enough for making a 30-year-old dream come true.

If you think storytelling is more important than gameplay then you should definitely give this 4-hours long "comedy series" a chance. Just don't expect too much in terms of gameplay.

It's a nice mix of metroidvania, kung fu and manga. Its eye-catching graphics, nearly 10 hours of storylines, episodes and variety of enemies manage to entertain you with its music that accompanies the game beautifully, although not catchy.
