7.5 / 10.0 - Pharaoh: A New Era
Feb 25, 2023

Pharaoh: New Era manages to preserve the essence of the game we loved years ago, but it is also notable for its shortcomings such as mini-map and army management. Return to Monkey Island is a game worthy of the Monkey Island name. Not only has it retained the spirit of the series, it also has cleverly paid homage to previous titles and incorporated them into the canon. It's a nice mix of metroidvania, kung fu and manga. Its eye-catching graphics, nearly 10 hours of storylines, episodes and variety of enemies manage to entertain you with its music that accompanies the game beautifully, although not catchy.
