EA FC 27, as always, has saved its biggest improvements for Ultimate Team. However, the addition of The Grounds alone is a groundbreaking step for EA. If this step is followed by the integration of at least a single-player game mode, the future of FC games could start to make much more sense for a far wider audience.

Another Eden Begins takes the time-travel concept and tones it down quite a bit, instead putting the power of friendship at the heart of what is otherwise a classic JRPG. Its chain attack system and the Valor concept also add some much-needed life to the battles. The fact that New Game+ opens up new possibilities fits the game's core concept surprisingly well, too. For JRPG fans, it promises plenty of enjoyable hours.

Yes, in terms of graphics it still didn’t quite deliver what people were hoping for, but Pokémon Legends: Z-A fulfills many of the dreams that anyone who watched or played Pokémon as a kid once had. Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition will make you forget you're playing on a Switch with its breathtaking landscapes. Although it doesn't surpass Sniper Elite 5, it tells another story from the same era. At the moment, there's no better alternative where you can prevent the end of the world by clicking on heads. The online options, where you can join other people's games and hunt them down, are quite satisfying. Sniper Elite Resistance manages to live up to its name, neither falling short nor overdoing it.

After the linear and immersive nature of the missions, the transition to the open world is a welcome relief. While Atomic Heart takes us to a completely different dystopian USSR, it also made me smile by getting a lot of things right as a game. What we have in our hands is potentially the best Pokemon game in history. If the optimization issues had not undermined the enjoyment of the game, we might be talking about very different things. However, I have great hope that the game will improve in the future. If I had just one wish from Jirachi, it would be for Scarlet & Violet to run smoothly. Don't be in a hurry to purchase, but if performance issues are solved, as a PokeManiac, I would say don't miss this experience.
