Riptide GP: Renegade improves upon the mobile-centric entries of the series nicely. By adding in more modes, expanding the character progression system and offering up a robust trick system, players wind up with a game they can enjoy for quite some time. Vector Unit has made yet another outstanding aquatic racer and anyone who enjoyed Wave Race or the Hydro Thunder franchise should give it a shot. It’s thrilling, controls like a dream and looks excellent.
Trials of the Blood Dragon is a tale of many games.

They challenge you constantly, but feature a gradual learning curve that never gets overwhelming. Every game included in this collection is fun to play in either short bursts or longer stretches. They play like a dream on the DualShock 4 and look better than ever before on the PS4 thanks to a widescreen presentation. They're also some of the best-sounding chiptune-based games out there.
Ride has far more good points than bad. As a motorcycle racer, it's exciting and manages to stand out in a fairly crowded market. As a sim racing game, it's accessible and plays like a dream right away. It is hurt quite a bit by horrendous load times on the PS4 and many players on Steam have experienced issues with it — so it might be best to wait a while before buying that version. The PS4 version is solid, though, and worth a purchase for racing fans.
Xeodrifter condenses the core gameplay of Metroid into an experience that blends action and strategy without much filler and that doesn't waste a moment of the player's time in the process. The controls are smooth, while the animation and sound design fits the NES-to-SNES era that Renegade Kid loves to a tee.
The end result is something that might've been a slightly recommended purchase a decade ago, but there haven't been enough updates to warrant a purchase now for those who aren't fans of the original release.

Tower of Guns is a brilliantly-crafted game that is seemingly forged from the tears of the players who fall to its traps. Gunfire will come your way from every direction, while platforming perils send you to do your death thanks to massive fall damage totals.
The Deer God takes a somewhat strange concept and turns it into one of the most enjoyably relaxing games on the market. It combines platforming skills with a touch of action and an unbelievable amount of atmosphere.
Castle in the Darkness knows what it wants to be and succeeds marvelously. It's a smooth-playing action platformer that meshes a variety of genres together nicely.
The reworked zombies mode is just one reason to get the Havoc DLC pack. The best reason to get it lies in the four new maps, which have a lot of replay value not only for team deathmatch, but the other modes as well.
Those in the mood for a fast-paced experience that won't require a massive investment of time for a play session should give Funk of Titans a shot.
