In what the last months of the Nintendo Switch will be, if we have to believe the rumors, Nintendo gives us a nice encore. After Super Mario Bros. Wonder At the end of last year, a slick remake of a Gameboy Advance classic: Mario vs. Donkey Kong. In the twenty years after the release of the original, the Italian plumber and his ancient rival seemed to have grown at each other, but in this remake the battle between the two can be tasted again.

After many years of whining and complaining from the fan base, Ubisoft finally seemed to give in last year: There would be an Assassin's Creed game "according to the old formula", entitled Mirage. A so-called return to form, with fewer RPG elements and more old-fashioned sneaking and blending into the crowd on a smaller scale than the previous three games (read: Valhalla, Odyssey & Origins). It was music to the ears of many fans, but has Ubisoft managed to keep these promises? The short answer: yes! But that does come with some caveats.

At first glance, LEGO 2K Drive is exactly what you would expect from a game with this title: an open world racing game in which the vehicles, characters and large parts of the game world are built from the well-known toy blocks. The concept will be familiar to people who played the LEGO Racer series in the early 2000s.

Gran Turismo 7 picks up where Gran Turismo 6 left off. You are again taken into a game where the focus is on the old-fashioned single player and less on online gaming. The game brings together elements that were missed in GT Sport, but also takes you deeper into the history of the automotive industry. In the game, old familiar locations return, such as the second-hand market and GT AUTO. But the most important thing about GT7 is of course the racing, which is rendered ultra realistic. You get the feeling as if you are actually driving a car. All this makes Gran Turismo 7 one of the best racing games out there right now.
