Sophia the Traveler is a unique, enchanting artistic experience. Don’t hesitate to join Sophia as she immerses herself in the beauty of this iconic city, which holds many surprises. Here you’ll find a breathtakingly painted Venice blended with an adventure in the style of “Where’s Waldo?” This title offers an unforgettable experience that will captivate your imagination. For me, it’s definitely a clear choice for all lovers of aesthetics and point-and-click games.

Lil' Guardsman is like a mischievous elf who occasionally gets caught in his own traps. Despite the occasional flaws in its execution, however, it manages to captivate and entertain with its charm and original concept. The game offers an engaging story full of dilemmas and humorous situations that are sure to warm the player’s heart. Although the journey with Lil is sometimes winding and may require patience, it’s well worth it to discover the bizarre corners and characters of this peculiar kingdom. Garden Life: A Cozy Simulator presents an interesting concept, but unfortunately suffers from several shortcomings. Despite these, the game may appeal to those seeking freedom in building and a relaxing atmosphere. I recommend keeping an eye on this title and waiting for any fixes or improvements from the developers. After all, there’s a certain magic hidden in the garden, and it’s up to you to decide whether you’ll set out to uncover it.

Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden was a risk that paid off, enriching Don't Nod Entertainment's portfolio with a great game that excels at emotional storytelling and offers many choices with long-term consequences. With a compelling story, atmospheric setting, dynamic combat, and a well-crafted, dark game world, it’s an experience worth having despite minor technical flaws. The combination of love, death, sacrifice, and moral dilemmas makes this title not only a demanding challenge but also a gripping epic that keeps players on the edge of their seats.

Hidden Through Time 2: Myths & Magic invites us on a historical journey through magical eras, featuring enhanced visuals and the ability to create your own world using a creative editor. Although the game offers engaging moments, minor glitches are an eyesore and turn what should be a relaxing experience into moments that can sometimes be frustrating. Despite these challenges, the sequel to Hidden Through Time remains an interesting title for those who want to push the boundaries of their logical thinking—and perhaps have a little fun along the way.

7 / 10.0 - Spells & Secrets
Dec 27, 2023

Spells & Secrets offers a magical world full of action, spells, and challenges. With an endless castle maze and procedurally generated challenges, players will enjoy a classic roguelike experience set within a wizard academy. Unfortunately, the game suffers from a lack of variety and depth in its story. Local co-op and pleasant visuals add to the fun, but repetitive environments and other minor issues can detract from the game’s overall impression and potential.

8.5 / 10.0 - Jusant
Dec 2, 2023

Jusant offers a breathtaking rock-climbing adventure with an emotional story, just as we’ve come to expect from Don’t Nod. The developers have managed to bring their strengths to a genre that’s new to them, thereby demonstrating their versatility. Rock climbing provides a satisfying experience. Combined with appealing visuals, a powerful soundtrack, and a meditative atmosphere, these strengths far outweigh a few shortcomings and certainly do nothing to detract from the charm of this short but well-crafted project.

7.5 / 10.0 - PowerWash Simulator
Nov 20, 2023

PowerWash Simulator delivers a fun and relaxing experience that offers the satisfaction of removing grime with a high-pressure washer. The game features a variety of tasks and environments that ensure every job is unique. The multiplayer mode is a great feature, but the lack of background music can make the game feel monotonous during longer play sessions. If you’re looking for a casual game or a relaxing experience, this simulator will be right up your alley.

8 / 10.0 - Afterimage
Oct 11, 2023

Afterimage is a game that entices players with its breathtaking visuals and vast game world. Despite its shortcomings in navigation and its overall lack of accessibility, it has a lot to offer to those willing to invest time and patience in it. An experience full of exploration, fierce combat, and the ability to upgrade your character in various ways is an interesting addition to the Metroidvania genre and offers many hours of entertainment. It’s an intriguing title for fans of the genre who aren’t afraid to spend time in a beautiful yet unforgiving world of mysteries, magic, and the supernatural.

Overall, Harmony: The Fall of Reverie offers an intriguing futuristic premise combined with a focus on an emotional narrative. This visual novel from Don't Nod captivates players with its contrast between reality and a dreamlike world that embodies various human traits and emotions. The game focuses on diverse choices and consequences that influence the characters’ fates, bringing dynamism to the decision-making process. Although some game mechanics may seem complicated and confusing, the challenge of uncovering the secrets of the Aspirations and deciding the fate of both Polly and humanity is imaginative. Even though occasional shortcomings detract from the overall experience, Harmony: The Fall of Reverie deserves the attention of players who enjoy making important decisions and are open to an unconventional experience with a fresh take on classic game genres.

7 / 10.0 - Deflector
Aug 27, 2023

Deflector is an action-packed rogue-lite that manages to make a surprisingly strong impression in its genre. With procedurally generated levels, intense combat, and the ability to deflect projectiles, it offers an uncompromising challenge for players brave enough to venture into this virus-infested microcosm. Although the game’s story is rather peripheral and the chaos on the battlefield is defined by an occasionally frustrating difficulty, the variety of character abilities, combined with an addictive gameplay loop, can be the light at the end of the tunnel.

Fall of Porcupine seems to have an interesting message and attempts to portray a certain issue in modern society through a playable story. Although it has several positive aspects, such as its visual style and emotional scenes, it also has significant technical shortcomings. The gameplay sometimes feels monotonous and lacks interaction or any effort to engage the player. Thanks to its unusual theme, the game could be interesting, but for now, my recommendation is to wait for a few updates and further improvements from the developers.

7 / 10.0 - Dordogne
Jul 19, 2023

Dordogne is a brief yet emotionally unforgettable adventure with a powerful message that transcends generations. The game draws you into a world of childhood memories through creative mini-games and touching moments centered on personal growth and self-discovery. Although the game may be relatively brief, its uniqueness lies in its artistic visuals, which transport the story into a watercolor world full of color and life. Despite its minor flaws, Dordogne serves as a bridge between the past and the present, reminding us of the importance of our memories and loved ones.

Glass Masquerade 3: Honeylines is a visually stunning and relaxing game that combines beautiful Art Deco-style graphics with logic puzzles. Although it doesn’t differ much from the previous installments, it offers new possibilities and variations in puzzle-solving. The graphics are appealing, and the music pleasantly complements the relaxing atmosphere. The game also offers various modes and statistics to encourage replayability. While the new features may drive some players up the wall, the third installment is an interesting sequel that, despite all efforts to bring something new to the series, has slightly overshadowed its original charm.

7 / 10.0 - After Us
Jun 20, 2023

After Us is an emotional journey that takes players on a journey through a devastated, surreal world. The game explores the consequences of human actions on the environment and highlights their destructive power. Players control Gaia, a tiny spirit, and embark on a mission to restore life and hope to a ravaged planet. The game’s stunning visuals and environmental narrative effectively convey a message about ecological responsibility. Players explore the world, overcome obstacles, and must fight for survival. After Us offers a visually striking experience that encourages reflection on humanity’s impact on the world around us, but its content and gameplay don’t offer much in the way of excitement.

8.5 / 10.0 - Planet of Lana
Jun 14, 2023

The story of Planet of Lana takes a surprising turn, shifting from an idyllic life in harmony with nature to an unexpected attack by unwelcome visitors from outer space. Lana is the only one who manages to escape the enemy robots, and with the help of a cute creature named Mui, she sets off on an adventure full of logic puzzles and tricky obstacles. Their cooperation and abilities are key to overcoming all the pitfalls and saving the villagers. The game offers not only an emotional storyline and an engaging adventure, but also stunning visuals with amazing music that completes the atmosphere. Although the title isn’t without its minor flaws and some sections can be frustrating to get through, this adventure is a completely unique experience full of emotion and beauty.

6.5 / 10.0 - The Tenants
Jun 4, 2023

The Tenants is a management simulation game in which you play the role of a wealthy entrepreneur who must rise from nothing to the top of the social ladder. Work your fingers to the bone, take on jobs, satisfy your clients’ needs, and save up capital to buy your own properties, which you’ll then fill with tenants to secure a passive income. The game piles a ton of responsibility on your shoulders, which can get tedious after a few hours due to the repetitive gameplay.

8.5 / 10.0 - Dredge
May 30, 2023

As the debut title from a New Zealand studio, DREDGE has won the hearts of many players with its masterful atmosphere, its incentive to explore a visually intriguing world, and its immersive story. This fishing simulator, which combines Lovecraftian horror, logical thinking, quick reflexes, and a relaxing experience, will particularly appeal to more demanding players. Despite the excellent first impression, however, I feel that the developers could have squeezed much more out of the game, as they simply didn’t fully realize its potential.

May 15, 2023

The Last Case of Benedict Fox generated a lot of hype, but unfortunately, it failed to live up to expectations. The game falls short in many key areas and clearly suffered from insufficient testing prior to release. It’s certainly not a perfect game, but on the other hand, I don’t think it leaves a purely negative impression. Hopefully, upcoming updates will resolve these issues, and I would recommend waiting until then to try the game, because it definitely has a lot to offer.
