Unfortunately, War Hospital only impresses at first glance, and it’s only as you play that you begin to realize just how monotonous and uninteresting this game actually is. The repetitive and sometimes unnecessarily frustrating gameplay can completely sap even the slightest motivation to keep playing, until you reach the point where you simply stop enjoying it. If you’re not a fan of management games, give this one a wide berth. But if you do like this genre and can overlook all its flaws, feel free to add a point to the rating. Five out of ten.

TEKKEN 8 offers stunning visuals, a compelling story, and innovative gameplay that make it an exceptional title in the fighting game genre. Despite a few minor flaws, it provides a wide range of entertainment for players of all skill levels. With a clear conscience (though a heavy heart), I have no hesitation in saying that this eighth installment surpasses its competition in every respect: graphics, soundtrack, controls, multiple single-player modes, and much more.

Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name is an excellent spin-off of the series that not only successfully bridges the story between the sixth and seventh installments but also introduces new and innovative elements. A great story, connections to the main series, and diverse combat styles make this game a treat for both Yakuza fans and newcomers. The side activities are fun and add a few hours of entertainment to the game. Despite minor flaws in the controls and the challenge of remembering new characters, this game is an enjoyable and engaging adventure for fans of the series.

Perish is a fast-paced and dynamic shooter that falls short of other titles in the same genre due to minor flaws. The Greek mythology on which the game is based is well implemented. The enemy animations are a bit odd, but that’s not something that would cost Perish any points. More problematic are the repetitive tasks and the fact that demons respawn in the same locations. Nevertheless, it’s an interesting game, and you can enjoy the overall experience with up to three other players.

Payday 3 has interesting potential thanks to its diverse cast of criminal characters, character progression options, and various customization features. However, it suffers from several significant issues, including problems with servers, online features, and NPC artificial intelligence. The underdeveloped stealth system and the lack of logic in the behavior of civilians further diminish the enjoyment of the game. Despite a few shortcomings in the AI behavior of its opponents, it offers enjoyable and engaging opportunities to play with both bots and real partners. The Bridge Curse: Road to Salvation is a dark action-adventure game. You find yourself at Tungha University, where six students are trying to debunk an urban legend about a haunting ghost, but their ritual awakens a curse that cannot be broken. The Bridge Curse: Road to Salvation also combines elements of horror games like Outlast, Amnesia, and Penumbra, creating a dense atmosphere with a claustrophobic setting. However, the game suffers from issues with escape sequences and a linear approach. The Czech translation of the text may be difficult for players whose English is not at a basic level. Despite its shortcomings, it offers an atmospheric experience and an entertaining story with several playable characters.

Deadlink is a first-person action shooter that combines roguelike elements with a gripping story. Set in a cyberpunk world, you play as an agent sent on a dangerous mission to destroy corrupt conglomerates. Thanks to a detailed codex that provides information on characters, enemies, weapons, and upgrades, the story is surprisingly well-developed. Dead Island 2 is a pleasant surprise, but unfortunately it doesn't offer anything new. I’d go so far as to say it’s just a better version of its predecessor. It’s a bit more fun, more brutal, more polished, and definitely works better in co-op mode. Still, after nine years of development, I would have expected something more. The combat system is flawless, and destroying the undead is the best part.

Forge of the Chaos Dwarfs is a fantastic expansion that introduces three new playable characters and additional game mechanics. It might take a little while to get the hang of them at first, but you’ll soon find your footing and start conquering the world. Earning slots in the towers—and the bonuses that come with them—is an interesting concept, though you can lose them if another faction outbids you. The only thing that’s a bit annoying is the long loading screen, so you’ll usually resort to the automatic battle resolution.
